Last weeks 'Win and you're in' fights to get into the bottom 8 of the last 16?

Blacksmith somehow scraped into the 'win and you're in' fights then won via a slightly iffy judges decision. I suspect Witch Doctor will eat them alive.

Tombstone/Quantum is probably the match I'm most looking forward to. They should all be great fights though.

Episode 15 is up.

Definitely some good match ups, but then, all the robots in the last 16 are there on merit.

Aye I can't see how huge lost that. Huge might be a bit pants but when the offence is "lift them up a bit" then erm... what?

3 points damage - well they have to go to huge because the "lift them up a bit" isn't damage and they didn't get a single hit with primary weapon.
2 points aggression - both only went forwards, IMO a score draw. If anything err on Huge because the other bot wasn't actually being aggressive, sitting under Huge all the time was a purely defensive strategy.
2 points control - fair enough this goes 100% against huge.

IMO it's in part because it's telly and all of huge's fights are a bit pants so they've got to go!

The thing that puzzles me though, is that Minotaur are in the last 16, I thought they lost in the Desperado bout, didn't the other Brazilian bot win that fight?
Must say though, that some of those fights are absolutely epic, really does make Robotwars look very tame. Very much looking forward to the final.

Who do you reckon for the semi's? I'll go Sawblaze v Death Roll and Tombstone V Biteforce , who'll win out of the semi's, for the final? Very difficult to call, but I somehow have a feeling that DeathRoll is destined for great things. Well, maybe biggrin

I'd swap Deathroll for Minotaur so long as they're in full back-to-their-old-self mode.

Bite Force vs Witch Doctor could go either way, but it's still hard not to see Tombstone ending up on top once all the bits land.

Death Roll or maybe even Biteforce could break Tombstone's weapon.

Oh, I know it's possible, and I have seen it happen... but if I was actually putting money down on a straight win/lose, then it's Tombstone every time for me.

Me too.

I do however love how deathroll looks with the comedy Aussie strong arm and Croc Dundee knife :-)

That was a great episode.

Can't believe a UK broadcaster hasn't picked it up when you consider how much crap is on TV these days.

I really want to buy the season, digitally or blu ray but cant find a reliable way to do it.

Great final, inevitable result!

Great fights all the way through the final, but once it got to the final the result seemed nailed on.

So (winner spoiler inside...) How do you beat a robot like Biteforce?
