What the hell colour tan is that ? Has Ms Keegan been holidaying in Chernobyl ? I may be in a minority but I thought she was pretty hopeless as an actor and a bit ...err...obvious in looks. She seems now to have developed the trout pout which is compulsory in D list slebs .

Antony Cotton has confirmed Liam McCheyne will become a "full-time" member of the 'Coronation Street' cast.

The 45-year-old actor – who has played Sean Tully on the cobbles since 2003 – is delighted to have the young star back as his on-screen son Dylan Wilson, and he has revealed the comeback won't be short-lived.

Appearing on ITV's 'Lorraine' on Friday (23.10.20), he said: "We've done a little short stint first of all, , . the character is back for half term.

"Then he goes away again, then he's going to come back and do another short stint, and then come back full time. So it's very, very, very exciting.

"I'm just thrilled that it's Liam, that it's the same lad that I worked with when he was three years old."

If you watched the last series of "Last tango in Halifax" Liam played the young lad who was a bit of a tearaway.

He seems to be a better actor than the other kids in the street. 'Bout time.

Wtf is it with that guys nose? Was it flattened under a steam roller in a tragic accident then stitched back on by a drunken blind surgeon?
It was mentioned a while ago. He's got the eyes of a seagull, but the schnozzle of a Platypus.

I'll have to try and look out for 'ol beady eyes pinching chips and attacking folk on the street now lol.
In all honesty though what is the current plan for the street main stories? Anyone know or care?
A fake sinkhole and buy David's house then hope the rest of the street don't object to planning a skyscraper? Rubbish story.

Jonny and his dodgy mate going to nick a few hundred quid and not be caught?

New Todd will split Billy and Seagull (!) Up for sure. I don't care.

And Steve/ Leanne let their child slip away. Something to look forward to perhaps given the angst it creates weekly.

In better times the street used to have one or two real strong plots that ran a while mingled with the usual humour of the great characters. The new writers seem to lack the know how and then can't quite cope with the technical aspects of socially distanced wide shots.
CV19 has had a bigger impact than anyone knew!!!

What is the issue with Johnny and his past. Why doesn't he just sit down with Jenny and tell her that 40+ yrs ago, when he was a stupid kid, he did some bad things, and now Scott is blackmailing him into going back to that life?

Far too logical. All of the current stories are a joke with no sense behind any of them. The "sinkhole saga" is a prime example. Most people if they suddenly got a sinkhole in their garden would get experts in to check it out and think about evacuating the house. Not David; he gets one dodgy guy round to check it out and the whole family continue to live in a potentially dangerous house.
I know it is "only a soap" and we need to suspend disbelief but the stories are so ridiculous Corrie is becoming unwatchable.

When Ray's "mate" dug out the hole in the middle of the night (Without anyone hearing him), where did all the displaced soil go to?

It’s just all getting a bit ridiculous now, I’ve tried to persevere and forgive the obvious distancing, missing characters etc, I get that this has been forced on the producers but why are the storylines such drivel, they aren’t even close to resembling anything normal. Like people have said, its only a soap but come on they may as well relocate the cobbles to the moon its so unbelievable.

I’m close to giving up, in fact the only thing keeping me watching is how long I’ve been watching it for. If I’d got into a year or so ago I’d have given up a long time back but I’m finding myself on my iPad during it, it’s pretty much 100% rubbish and has been for a while now.

Are the script writers overworked, do they have to put too much script out that they cannot see the obvious holes in the plots, does no one check through and point out the ridiculousness????????

It’s a shame.....

Exactly. Nobody in the soap has an entirely clean past, even Jenny.

Almost all of the plots right now are ludicrous and I feel like I am just waiting for them to run their course.

This. Watched it all my life, started with my mother and my daughter started with me. Daughter has pretty much given up and I only watch it out of habit now. Keep hoping it'll turn around but no sign as yet. Too many of the actors just haven't got the charisma to salvage the bad plots either.

Thought about giving up, but the truth is that moaning about Coronation St is the glue that holds our marriage together.

This is it, good storylines and you’ll put up with average/bad acting.

Good acting and you can oversee the holes in the storylines and enjoy it.

Problem atm is that the storylines and the acting is bad - there is no hope for enjoyment!
