And a northern Lourdes. Just about any disease cured in 3 episodes and twins suddenly become a year younger.
And who can ignore the magic money trees and instant legal transfers of contracts when buying/selling houses and factories. Anybody would think it was all made up!!

LGBT+ hotspot, miracle cures for all diseases, efficient legal system and houses for under £150k, when can I move in?

Not just houses for £150k, but houses with an ever expanding number of bedrooms so you can invite any number of randoms you have known for about 10 mins to move in

Especially your brother/sister/father/mother etc that you didn't know existed until they suddenly turned up from some long away place like Sheffield or Bristol!

Another mystery - why has everyone got a different christian name? In any given street, surely there'd be more than one Dave or Sue or whatever, but in soapland this never happens. Seems mighty convenient for the writers and plot-planners.

I'm surprised none of the residents have had Covid as part of a plot yet.

Well they have all been social distancing haven't they?, except Kevin and Annie Lennox when they were locked in the Bistro Fridge.

Maybe the extreme cold killed the virus.

No comments after last night's episode? Am I taking it that there's a general ennui about our fandom?

How long before it returns to an acceptable level of writing/plotting? Not sure how long I can carry on TBH...........

It occurred to me last night how much I really hate Jacob, which I think means Corrie have unearthed a really decent young actor.

No comments from me as I’ve stopped watching it. The storylines, scripts - and in many cases acting - have just got so bad it doesn’t warrant viewing rolleyes

Missed most of this week, CBA
Socially distanced acting has killed it.

+1.

It’s just a shame that Simon is involved. I just can’t take him seriously. It could be a great story line.

With Will Mellor joining the cast this week, I really want him to go into the rovers and order 2 pints of lager and a packet of crisps smile

Agree. The acting is poor and I can't imagine any realistic drug dealer using Simon in any capacity other than the way medieval monarchs employed a fool.
