Yeah and apparently you can auto renew at at your current price for the next 12 months up until August whereas new subscribers will have to pay the increased price.

I can see very little from star that isn’t available elsewhere (Netflix/Prime/Sky).

Atlanta was removed from iPlayer a few weeks ago and has now popped up on Star - you’ll love it or hate it, but need a few episodes to realise it’s not what you thought it’d be. My favourite series in a long time!

Atlanta was great i thought, quite funny in places.
Sure it was being shown on bbc2 not long ago.

As per when Disney+ launched originally here, things will gradually have their rights run down elsewhere and become exclusive on Star. Quite a few Fox titles such as Die Hard flip flopped in and out of availability on streaming sites for years, so it's nice that they will always be there available now.

Unless they throw big money at Star for adults I can't understand anyone without young children paying for it all. Don't get me wrong with a five year old daughter it gets some serious screen time but without the kids it wouldn't get watched and the value v's Netflix for example if pretty poor.

To be honest, we share a sub with another family. £35 a year each isn't much in that sense.

Will check out STAR tonight

Can recommend HAMILTON as a film (of a theatre show) - which is on the normal DISNEY bit.

I just hopped on to take a look at Star, streaming through my PS.

Is it just me or is the UI terrible? I can't see anyway to actually see what is on easily, I can't see a search facility nor can I see a simple way to navigate it.

Just switched it off, I really can't be bothered to trawl through.

"One Hour Photo" is a bit of a wild film... Robin Williams works in a Photo Lab... makes you glad we're in digital times now!

It's pretty much the same as Netflix, when you login on the main screen where it shows the sub tiles for Marvel, Star Wars, Star etc.
Just click left and a sub menu will show up then select shows or movies or the magnifying glass to search.
It will then show all films or shows across all the sub tiles they have by genre.

Although there is no functionality if you click into the Star tile first then try to search for stuff.

Is that true? I’m watching via sky and I go through to star and it just shows their curated selection of titles. If I want to browse through every documentary they have, how on earth do I do it?

Just double checked and you don't even need to click left.
On the home page drop it down to one of the sub tiles like Disney, a menu should pop up on the left.

Move onto it and it should expand, then just move the cursor to the 5th icon down which is for series
It will open the Series menu and you can select what you want to watch.
It's broken down by genre across the top and includes all the content available on D+

I don't think there is a way you can search for say just Star specific stuff though, although the search function has some pre selected collections that include some National Geographic stuff.
