Reality check, this is reality TV, not real life!!!
My wife recounts more than one experience when interviewing for junior roles, it's been evident that The Apprentice is the applicants' only exposire to interviewing.

If she wants a Filing Clerk, she doesn't want somevody who will "Smash it." and "Double the size of this company within twelve months." She wants somebody who is personable conscientious and reliable.

I think he has already chosen Carina as the winner, there's no way he'll go with the recruiter who hasn't done the level of recruitment she says she wants to.
I don't know. Shuggs will go with whoever's offers the biggest profit potential. I have no idea how it works in recruiting or baking, but the mark up on bakery and cups of coffee must be immense. The bakery can be scaled up, can the recruiting?

Level not in financial terms but level in terms of seniority of candidates she wants to move into.

Yes, Ricky Martin. His business was doing what he already knew (scientific recruitment) and had the contacts and database to grow not dreaming of big money head hunting fees for directors.

Surprised Lottie wasn't contractually obliged to do 'You're Fired'?

Tom Allen - makes ‘You’re Fired’ unwatchable.

Such an annoying presenter.

If sugar wasn’t interested in a county club business then why make her go through all that when she had no chance.

I thought she was the candidate with the most potential, especially considering she’s only 19, I personally have changed a lot since I was 19 and in some ways feel like a different person in my 30’s.

As she said she has learned a lot about herself in the process alone which I can relate to, having ironed out a very arrogant aura I wasn’t aware of around her age

Some people are s at 19 but go on to mature and grow out of it. Others remain s for the rest of their lives. Obviously the programme is heavily edited for entertainment, but I saw nothing about Lottie which made her likeable or gave you the feeling you’d want to invest in her.

Anybody noticed the continuity went haywire tonight? Pamela got fired in a pink dress, wore a blue one to walk to the taxi, and had changed into a red one by the time she was sat in it.
