Considering it had a look of a older film in the first place it doesn't look out of place today.

Cars used
1972 Rover 3 litre
1974 Ford Consul
1979 RS2000
1984 Transit

and more - https://www.imcdb.org/m120735.html
This is what I was going to say - It was already 'pre-aged' kind of.. juxtaposition.

Same with Snatch.

Can't seem to find Lock-Stock anywhere, but Snatch is easy to find (phfanar-phfanar!)

Also in a similar vein, I gave Layer Cake a re visit a few months back... which I think has a slight edge of Guy Ritchie's films (in terms of style and finesse) but obviously not the dark comedy.

Such a great film. I prefer snatch but this is almost as good! I need to watch again though as haven’t seen it for some time but have seen snatch quite a bit.

We have LS&2SB on DVD, but I downloaded a 1080 BR rip as too used to HD these days to put up with DVDs ;-)

I still don't get the love for Layer Cake, I went to the flicks to see it and just thought it was a bit of a sad play to what people who want gangster films to be.

LS&2SB is still one of the greatest though, Snatch too. In fact I'd put Snatch up there with Pulp Fiction and The Empire Strikes Back as one of the greatest "second films" (yes I know not all are strictly second films) of all time. A bit like the difficult second album, it's all too easy for the film that follows a cult smash to turn out to be a right dog.

We've decided we're about to re-watch LS&2SB again for the first time in years. Decades probably, as it's now 21 years old. 21!!

Any views on how well it's going to have aged?
I watched it recently. Still brilliant. Annoyingly as someone mentioned above its lot available on any digital platform. I had to order one of those DVD things from amazon. Remember those?

Didn’t he take inspiration for those scenes from the “Richardson’s” as in the South London brother gangsters from the 1960’s that put the Willies up the Krays.

No idea about that.

Another favourite quote from the same scene:-

What's that?

That? That's my favourite axe, Eddie.
