Thought I would give To the Lake a watch after a few comments on here, actually found it to be an extremely eerie and tense pandemic thriller. Russia during winter was also the perfect location, only complaint was it was on the slow side but this did help build an impression that they were in a vast area that was sparsely populated with tough living conditions.
Yeah. Really enjoyed this. Get yourself over to the historical side next - la Rev

Absolutely brilliant. The first episode is more about setting the story up, episode 2 onwards is where its gets going with the main characters.
The lead actress is superb, not seen her before but is she gorgeous, amazing eyes.
If this was a film she would be up for an Oscar IMHO.

What's it about?
Trailer is https://youtu.be/CDrieqwSdgIIt's an incredibly well produced piece of work for a series on Netflix, everything works from the cast, background story to the period clothes and backdrops. It's more than good enough to have been made into film.

Late to the party but we've just finished The Staircase.
It's a 13 part documentary following a man accused of murdering his wife which seems to have been a big hit when first shown in 2018. If you liked Making of a Murderer then it'll be a really good watch.
Did he do it? Decide for yourself. Just don't google anything before you watch it.
