Amazon PRIME is slightly better for 'blockbuster' films if that is what you mainly want.

They also have a lot of extra films you have to pay for if you want to.

Anyway what to watch after The Punisher ?

Easily the bloodiest thing I have seen on TV in a long while. Was good though, highly recommend.
Bloody? you've not seen seen The Boys then? (Amazon though).

yes, this is a fair point.

You would have thought the older films would be cheaper to put on there.

Bing watching White Gold as I never saw it originally. Brilliant show.

After a mention in another thread on here I started watching it yesterday. How did I miss this when it first came out . Utterly brilliant.

It seems evident to me that they are focusing more on making their own content - but also focusing on quantity over quality a lot of the time!

They have had Goodfellas on there but outside of their own content, films/series necessarily don't stay forever.

On searching for Goodfellas, the following came up. Lots of good stuff in there, somewhat mitigating the earlier poster's criticism smile.

Agree

Kids wanted to watch 2012 the other day (starting John Cusack...the thinking man's Nicholas Cage) prime wanted £3.49! Seriously!

Got a bluray off eBay for £2

We also have Now TV films (sky cinema?) and Disney (as well as Netflix and prime) and it can still take ages to find something we can agree on. I quite often just record films off "the telly" too.

Though our kids are 8 and 10, so fall into not wanting to watch "kids" stuff but not quite ready yet (in my mind) for many of the decent action films.

Superstore - no idea if this is new or some weird algorithm recommended it. Bit like that English thing that used to be on TV a couple of years ago set in a supermarket but in an American Walmart type place. Quite enjoying it.
Quality show, and you're in luck because you've got about 100 episodes ahead of you to enjoy.
Yes. Halfway through series 3. I imagine it's a documentary on middle America. Having a sister and nephews, nieces and great nephews in Dayton, and javinh visited a few times, confirms that it's as real as Donald Trump having been president once.

Tribes of Europa

New dystopian sci-fi series.

One in. Promising so far.
Binged it all yesterday...was gutted it was on 6 episodes...they have to do a second, third series etc. Setting reminds me of the Fallout video games. It's set mainly in Czech Republic. smile

The Judge

Small town America part legal drama part family drama. No particular twists just a solid well acted story

Robert Downey jr, Robert Duvall, Billy Bob Thornton

American murder - the family next door.

Both myself and my partner ended up in tears at the end.

Just horrific.

Because they have to pay licensing fees for them. They'd much rather spend that money making their own new stuff so that they have a library of content they don't have to pay anything for.
