I know I’m late to the party (currently well into first season) but REALLY enjoying stts Creek.
Took 2/3 episodes to get into it but now me and the Mrs are hooked. The characters are fantastic and all of them have loveable qualities even though they’re pretty obnoxious at the same time. Superb writing, very funny and each episode is only just over 20 minutes long!
I'm just finishing the 5th series. Nearly at the end Took 2/3 episodes to get into it but now me and the Mrs are hooked. If anyone has any similar recommendations, I'd love to hear. I've got Modern Family on the watchlist for after Schitts Creek.
Also really enjoying Superstore, great characters and some of the offhand comments are brilliant. Glenn "Actually not all Christians are homophobes" Sturgis is particularly brilliant.

We have started Behind Her Eyes.
Have not read anything about this . .... picked it on screen and pressed play.
After E1 No idea if it’s some thriller, comedy, romantic ...... but I like it!

Really good! Can't figure out where it's going, but characters are drawing us in, great cast.
That ending though... totally unexpected.

Speaking of terrible voices, we’re watching White House Farm now.
The first episode is a bit slow, but it’s very good. Stephen Graham though.... great actor, but Welsh he isn’t!
I’ve got 1 episode left, once I’ve seen it I’m going to read up on the real case. If the DCI in charge wasn’t Welsh I’m going to have a hard time understanding why they made him use that terrible accent.
I thought it was excellent, creepy villain was good and loved the SD1s and old cavaliers and Nova GTEThe first episode is a bit slow, but it’s very good. Stephen Graham though.... great actor, but Welsh he isn’t!

High-Rise Invasion isn't bad - anime thing with people trapped in a place with skyscrapers linked by rope bridges, and being chased by people in masks.
Whoever directed it had a bit too much of a pervy fetish for upskirting though.
New season of B: The Beginning out soon which should be good.
Season 3 of Ash vs Evil Dead is now finally up for anyone who hasn't seen it.

I thought there was a thread for Snowpiercer Series somewhere ?

Did they mention how many carriages long it is?anyway... Ep5 S2 ... thats a new mode of death i've never seen before!
Also was no 2 or 3 in UK charts. So doing well.
Enjoying White House Farm. The problem I currently have with JB'c conviction is thus:
Literally everyone involved is flawed. The detective who's never been promoted, the cousins who stand to inherit if JB is convicted, The girlfriend who wanted a bit of revenge and also had charges disappear in exchange for her evidence. Even the twins Dad who loved Sheila so much would probably find it easier to accept JB did that and not her.
There is so much wrong with the case, evidence lost or not collected. Conflicting accounts. So many cock ups from the Police. I honestly couldn't call whether I think he did it or not, but I do think there is probably enough uncertainty that he shouldn't still be in prison for it. He was an odd character for sure. Product of his upbringing perhaps? Did that make him a murderer? I have no idea.

Just finished Behind Her Eyes and my head hurts
I enjoyed it, but the ending wasn't for me.First 4 episodes were brilliant, but I though staying as a psychological thriller would have been better than all the 'magic'. But equally, I'm sure for others it was right up their street.
On the plus side - it's very unusual in tv/movies for a Villain to 'win' at the end, as 'he' wasn't even an anti-hero, but a total villain. So always an interesting way to end.

I was expecting a (now) very obvious 'Gone Girl' twist, not the supernatural stuff. I felt a bit cheated like it was only one step away from 'it was all a dream'.
I liked the double-ending. ie you thought it had concluded and then it concluded again, putting a twist on everything you’d previously seen....
...but to think that everyone involved wouldn’t notice the personality change is ridiculous. Furthermore if skaghead can successfully pretend to be Louise then why didn’t he just act that way in the wife’s body? It just annoys me, that.

I'm quite enjoying October Faction. It's nice to have a male lead who is basically older and a bit odd looking, gets a bit boring having the typical all-american good looking quarterback type as the lead in these sorts of shows.
I enjoyed it too - sadly it's now been binnedben5575 said:

Agree the ending is just utter nonsense
