You can find season 4 elsewhere if you poke about. As it's not on Netflix. I binged the lot a few weeks ago. Recommended on here I think.

Quite good fun. But I wish they'd made better use of the idea and less use of Richard Curtis' trademark get-the-girl-at-the-last-minute panic.
I found it barely watchable. The part you refer to above made my toes curl (and not in a good way).

We sat down to watch it last weekend and felt the same, chugged our way through it.

Love Death and Robots season 2.

There are some seriously talented artists out there who all need professional help but it is excellent.
Have yet to catch up on S2 but from the episode details it looks like a couple definitely tick my boxes.

Sat down to watch 'Awake' last night.

I was fighting sleep and terminal boredom all the way through.

At first I was pleased that it was a film of normal length, worried it would be another bleedin' series.

Oddly it played out like a first episode then a very very rushed ending.

At least it helped me get my 40 winks.

Netflix are the masters of high concept nonsense, what we used to call 'straight to video crap'. I guess it works for their algorithms and stats as you only need to watch 2 minutes to be classed as a viewer. The trailers are often significantly better than the movies!

I must admit I watched the trailer and though 'oh, that looks interesting', checked it wasn't a series, then remembered how often I've wasted evenings watching similar rubbish! Love and Monsters is the only film in recent memory that has managed to pull itself above that very low bar.

Not sure if I would get on with this but it’s really good fun. Beautifully made and although it’s very fairy tale based, it isn’t totally schmaltzy.
4 in so far - reviews so far have been positive.
Three in and I'd agree with that. Daughter enjoying it a lot.
Finished it last night (Sweet Tooth). An easy watch as a parent, daughter loved it. Worth a go if you have kids.

We thought it started really well with a decent idea but then run out of steam very quickly. My wife wanted to give up half way through but I wanted to carry on as it had started so well I expected it to get better. When she fell asleep a bit later I just fast forwarded to the very end to see what happened.

I'd have to say that some of what ought to have been moments in the film were unbearably stretched. And the main character repeatedly turning down clear offers from the love interest were somewhat unbelievable.

There's a Belgian crime/drugs drama on Netflix called Undercover. In "foreign" with subtitles. It's utterly brilliant. Anyway, they've just released a film, which is a prequal, basically charting the rise of Ferry, the drugs kingpin in Undercover. A bit like what Better Call Saul is to Breaking Bad. The film is called Ferry and it's great. But you have to watch Undercover first.

Also, StartUp, a US drama starring Martin Freeman (playing an American as he did in Fargo). 3 unlikely characters are thrown together by chance and start up a crypto currency in series 1, and a dark web internet browser in series 2. Again, just superb.

Enjoyed the series - thanks for the heads up.

Watched the first two and am enjoying it a lot.
Kirsten Dunst is very appealing which is something I'd never noticed before.
Also watching and enjoying this, although it's all just gone a bit weird at the retreat. hehe

Seconded, stumbled across Ferry having watched Undercover a while ago and really enjoyed it too.

Love Death & Robots - Season 2
Watched the first 3 so far.

Yeah, it's good. But hasn't blown me away like Season 1 did.
