TV personalities who randomly disappear
Discussion
I just watched the Tony Slattery programme, it was a good, sad to see how he is now but I hope he can get through it. I hadn't seen him in anything since the Whose line is it anyway days, so searching 'Tony Slattery' on iPlayer to find the programme also brought up an episode of Robin Hood from 2007. That wasn't a programme I watched, but doing the maths he would have been 46 or 47 filming it and would be after the cocaine, and to me he's still recognisable there as Tony Slattery from Whose line.

What happens to his comrades Terry Christian & Danni Behr from The Word?
I had the hots for Danni Behr back when she presented The Word. A quick google search reveals she moved to Hollywood and worked on TV there, then got married and had kids. She tried a UK TV comeback in 2008 when she appeared on Im a Celebrity, and later Came Dine With Me.Her father is a partner in London estate agents Behr & Butchoff

Bill Oddie. Disappeared from TV with mental health didn't he?
If grumpiness, inappropriate asides, and an inability to stick to a script and a running order are issues of mental health then, yesthat's why he was hastily dropped from the BBC's Springwatch franchise.
I wish Chris Packham would disappear up his own self-righteous arse.

A little bit churlish and unfair, perhaps? that's why he was hastily dropped from the BBC's Springwatch franchise.
ISTR he did a Who Do You Think You Are? or similar programme that highlighted some genuine and deep-seated problems and his grumpiness, inappropriate asides etc are most likely symptoms of those.

Oddie experienced depression for most of his life before being diagnosed with clinical depression in 2001. In March 2009 he was reportedly admitted to Capio Nightingale psychiatric hospital in Marylebone for treatment. His then-agent David Foster said: "Bill gets these bouts every two or three years where he gets down for about two weeks and recovers. He sometimes goes into hospital or takes a break or has a change of scenery to recharge his batteries."[40] In January 2010 Oddie spoke to the media, revealing that he had in fact had two separate stays in different hospitals, only being discharged "in time for Christmas". He said that he was dealing with depression and bipolar disorder, describing the period as "probably the worst 12 months of my life". Oddie stated that he was planning to meet with BBC executives to discuss his return to television work.[41]
His illness meant that Oddie did not appear in the 2009 and 2010 series of Springwatch, although he made a guest appearance in the penultimate episode of the latter. He subsequently said he was dismissed from Springwatch and that this had caused the depressive illness.

He was recently in a series on Ch5 where a bunch of oldies went for trips in canal boats whilst looking into the history and nature of the areas. He was on his best behaviour most of the time but would love to know what Pete Waterman, who was paired with him, really thought! https://www.radiotimes.com/tv-programme/e/kzb67w/c...

A quick google and the first thing to pop up...
Mark Lamarr was arrested on September 1, 2018, and was charged with assault and false imprisonment. He was due to appear in court on October 1, 2018, but last night the CPS dropped his case. A spokesman said: “We concluded that there was insufficient evidence to provide a realistic prospect of conviction.”
I hate it when they do this, whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty. The quote just smacks of sour grapes, 'we can't prove beyond reasonable doubt in court that he is guilty but we will still do everything we can to make you think that they are'.Mark Lamarr was arrested on September 1, 2018, and was charged with assault and false imprisonment. A friends brother in law is a camera man who has worked with Bill Odie several times, he's really not well liked.
A friends second cousin 4 times removed says Bill Oddie thinks your friends brother in law's friend is a smelly farter, and you enjoy sexual congress with goats.Sample size of 1 is great.
