It also reminds me just how efficient older action films were - no pointless filler, just everything pushing the story along, and no stupid "in" jokes or stty improv-style "comedy".
Now I want to see Predator, Aliens, T1 and 2 and Die Hard on the big screen.

The Northman
Intra-family relations turn sour and a young boy grows up to avenge his father's death. Run of the mill Viking sword and savagery saga that goes on too long.
I tried to watch this last night. The part at the beginning where they were acting like dogs in some ceremony made me skip/FFWD whole sections, and then I found myself doing it over and over again until at about 1hr in, I realise there was nothing I wanted to hang around to watch anymore and switched it off.Intra-family relations turn sour and a young boy grows up to avenge his father's death. Run of the mill Viking sword and savagery saga that goes on too long.

It was pretty rubbish, I deleted it straight away.maccas99 said:

Watched Memory with the usual Liam Neeson though the Altsheimers was a reasonable twist. Other than that, more of the usual terrible shots save when the script required a hit.

(Yes I know it's in the sequel but that was decent too)
