I'm watching just to see Bill Bailey, it's almost as bizarre as when Robert Fripp turned up on Mr and Mrs some years ago.

Having said that, I did like the redhead in the blue dress...

Struggling to get up much enthusiam for this series. Not sure why, but the contestants seem less interesting than usual.

What sort of major accident did Motsi have to end up having to wear a full body plaster

She can dance.

That'll be the first affair of the series. She looked great in her training gear.

I never thought I"d say this, but I kind of miss Bruno and his utter ridiculousness and OTT flamboyance

Agreed. The judges are a bit dull without him.

The embrace between the girls looked awkward.

Very little to get excited about for me. Maisie was easily the best so far, but we knew that would be the case . I do completely disagree with the judges however, Nicola Adams was poor. Shame really as she is quite likeable.
Jacquie Smith to go though.

I'm really not liking the slo-mo replay at the end of each dance between the judges comments and the score.

I assume they're using that as stop-gap filler so they don't have to show the dancers heading up the stairs and getting sprayed with anti-bac / hand sanitiser before they stand opposite Claudia hehe

Although it looks like the ongoing thing we'll have this series is repeated cuts to the audience / family members / friends so that we can ensure everyone is reminded about social distancing, bubbles, face coverings, etc.

Typical BBC woke ste. Black lesbian for the win and the usual disabled person for the tears/didn’t they do well crowd.
I didn't know the gammons were allergic to black female boxers. It's like you're afraid of women who can stand up for themselves.
Well that's quite the assumption isn't it? I'll entertain you and ask, how on earth did you come to the conclusion I have anything at all against Nicola Adams, boxers, female or otherwise?
She's trending on Twitter with most people crying with delight over her dancing with a woman and the odd person saying she's transphobic because she once said trans athletes should have their own category rather than competing in women's sport.

When the series started most of the celebs were household names who were not natural dancers and the pro-dancers were the unknowns. It is the other way round now.

The big thing that has changed is the stage-school shoe-ins. I had not heard of HRVY, but on last nights performance, he looks like a certainty for a finalist.

The show is missing the lightheartedness of both Len and Bruce - I miss Darcey.

It has become a parody of itself. I no longer care who wins and loses

That's always been of secondary importance to me anyway.
