Haven't watched Chasing Classic Cars for a while but agree, it fits right in here, along with American Pickers and some of the Edd China WD episodes where they tackle Italian exotica.

Golden oldies for me which still hit the warm spot - The Persuaders, The Saint, Randall & Hopkirk, Department S, The Champions, The Protectors and UFO, despite having the entire ITC back catalogue on dvd I still watch them when they're shown on TV.

He is great and I prefer it when he is with Sam Lovegrove.

Old school TV. I loved watching Secret Life of the Machines.

Provided Susan Calman isn't involved.

Saving Lives at Sea. Occasionally they tell you about some of the things that go wrong (quite rightly, I think) but the missions they show always work out and are often quite exciting.
Not always, sadly.
I did think that too, but the latest series, episode 1, tells the story of the search for missing fisherman Peter Mosley who was sadly found dead some days later.

James May has some YouTube videos where he makes 1970s/80s food, devoid of this pretentious modern cheffy nonsense (other than his production lady).

Similarly, HubNut videos. Low budget faffing around with old and often rubbish cars. His Invacar is utterly charismatic.

On a similar theme to Bake-Off, there are the Great Pottery Throwdown and the Sewing Bee series. Derivative, but heartwarming. Another two where you are cheering on the contestants and willing them to stay rather than booing them and willing them to go home.

With the Yorkshire Shepherdess series, I went from outrage to wanting to be adopted in about 5 minutes. What an amazing set of kids. Strange how it took Channel 5 being taken over by Americans for them to stop showing endless cheap sensationalist US shows, and start making their own decent quality programmes that very much emphasise humanity.

I didn't think I would and I'm late to the party but really like My Yorkshire Farm. AND I'm a grumpy agriculturalist to boot!

The new All Creatures Great and Small.
This and the original one. Stress-free, beautiful scenery and engaging characters from a time when the pace of life was slower.

Peppa Pig.

I watch it with my 2 year old daughter, it's actually quite amusing even for an adult to watch. I can now see why it has been so popular for so long.
I think they're still making new ones, they got very samey when my daughter was two and Peppa was life!

There's some genuinely funny bits, like when Grandpa Pig encounters Daddy Fox near his Chicken Pen at night.

Mr. Bull when they "DIG UP THE ROAD!".

Grandpa Pig arguing with Grandpa Dog about boats.

Anything with Daddy Fox actually, he's a bit of a cross between Derick Trotter and Private Walker.

Mademoiselle Madame Gazelle who is a Teacher, but also a Vampire.

There's surprising depth for a very simple cartoon for pre-schoolers!
GRAMPY RABBBBBBIIIIIIIITTTT!
Check out Ben and Holly's little Kingdom, loads of adult (aimed at, not smut) jokes in there.

Quite partial to a bit of Modern Family, its cheesy but some great characters and always raises a smile when I can't be bothered to look for something new to watch. Also Sophia Vergara.

YouTube is where everything is for me now.

I love watching Mr Carlson's Lab. Sometimes an hour of repairing some old valve (tube) radio.

I too watch a lot of YouTube videos on my TV.

I've recently been fascinated by shoe/boot repairs for no known reason, except it's almost therapeutic.
