These word soup of press releases are all smoke and mirror marketing BS.

A few minutes of due diligence on companies house and FCA websites raises more questions than it answers.

But hey, shiny blue Chiron and Instagram likes -I'm sold, take my money.

The Instagram stories on drivel with TGE explain in a bit more detail. More screenshots etc

Same essence of Tim and the SCC story. Stops short of calling it an outright scam, but too many questions left unanswered to promote it. Looks like JE and Archie were also in line to promote aswell but didn’t go through with it.

Wow, I didn’t know his dad was a convicted criminal.

Makes a lot of sense now joining the dots.

STG panning the DBX is something Aston Martin really didn't need. Shows he's unbiased though
I think he was just being honest... an up to date Merc engine, twinned with outdated infotainment with an array of buttons and no touchscreen is not worthy of a car costing £150k. Interiors seem a bit gash as well if I'm honest. A good old fashioned POVlog wink

TGE said he cancelled his contract though, so guess it may have been possible for her to pull out - perhaps she simply didn’t want to. Guess that’s her choice though.

Must admit that I didn’t know she was enough of an ‘influencer’ to get a gig like that. I wonder if she got it on her own merit or because she is TGE’s girlfriend? Again, that comes down to me knowing nothing about her so unfair to speculate. Even though that’s exactly what I have just done!

He’s probably got more to lose if it is dodgy

He still has a job in the city/banking so doesn’t look good professionally if he’s promoting dodgy financial services.

If your an Instagram model then people place less weight on your suggestions in that area

Hasn’t he left his City job now?

I’m coming across as wayyyyyy too invested in this - I’m really not, it’s just fluff to me but I do enjoy this thread (and some of the videos).

We'll be updating this forum title to include 'video streaming' so it makes sense to have this thread in here now, as it'll be the home for anything YouTube, Netflix, Prime etc related.

no he left one, used it to spice up a video title, something like "ive quit my job and bought a carera GT" but mentioned in his podcast that he has since got another.

If you look at their insta stories it’s amazing how many professional footballers appear to be promoting them too, obviously if you’re earning over £100k per week every little helps...

Bargain Racement has come to an end sadly. I have loved some good budget racing content with all the prep and behind the scenes stuff to go with it. Fantastic move by them to donate the car to aa good cause that I'm sure will get lots of use from it.

Hopefully they're going to be putting out more content now they've got a video guy and seen how well a weekly series has done.

Fairly sure his city job is compliance related, definitely wouldn't be good news if he promoted it and it later turned out to be dodgy (when?). Good to see some influencers do their due diligence though - very rare to see a lot of them turning down a money-making opportunity.

Hmm, dilemma. How to lose the most amount of money? Invest in Lanistar Bank or Crep Chief Notify? scratchchin

I just checked CCN's reviews on Trust Pilot. Most of the genuine bad reviews have disappeared, no doubt on protest from CCN, leaving mostly the fake good reviews. So that’s another company you can’t trust: Trust Pilot. Easily manipulated.
Have you actually used CCN? If you haven't and want to understand it, feel free to send me a message. A lot of the poor reviews on Trustpilot are related to people expecting it to be an easy way of making money and then getting annoyed that they haven't made thousands of pounds with their zero effort. Is that a fault of CCN or the user? Should the user then be able to leave a negative review and damage the business or is it fair that those reviews are able to be removed?

I'm not connected with CCN other than using it. I have a few negative things to say about CCN, but it being a scam is not one of them.

It sounds as though other people did the Due Dil themselves and left it all in the comments though.

If that’s the case, I’m a little surprised as TGE is a pretty sharp cookie - you’d think he would be on top of stuff like that from the outset though, given his background.

There’s almost certainly more to it going on behind the scenes that we will ever know about though.

I won’t be getting one of those cards now wink
