The actor’s obviously not been getting any acting tuition since he last graced our screens

One or two of us have said how efficient Hotten General Hospital is, with it's quick turnarounds to good health for a number of the village residents recently..! It may well be tested and even be out of its depth if next weeks schedule is anything to go by....! hehe

I'm guessing it was the 2 limos that collided? they both left the village in opposite directions heading somewhere so unless they travelled for miles in a loop to meet each other it has left me consued scratchchin

Hotton General will be busy but should have them all on their feet within 24hrs wink

Was that a toy limo on the ice at the end or really bad CGI.

Minor change to the schedule next week with Friday's episode airing at 7pm. All other days as normal.

Mondays episode was good, I avoided spoilers so I didn’t know who was going to go first. And the introduction of another body in the pond too, no idea where that story is going!

Mind, object lesson in how not to get out of a trapped car and cross a frozen pond, the ladies of Emmerdale have obvioulsy never been on a survival course! High heels on ice…… I mean, what could go wrong!

Also I have no idea how the car ended up where it did, seems to be a long way from the road !?

Never realised the temps got so low in Yorkshire for ice to be thick enough to allow a (best part of) 2 ton limo to manage to get halfway across the lake!

First thought on the body in the lake was Anthony but there would have been no need to tie his hands as he was already dead

Ah good suggestion! There was one of those bead type bracelets on the wrist, I can’t recall who in the characters wears such a thing though ?

I kept wondering why Noah was wandering around aimlessly, then realised that in the last scene he was in last week he was helping himself to the beer bottle that Jacob's dodgy trainee medical mate had brought to the table when he was trying to pull Belle (after being outed for the drugs earlier). I'm guessing he'd laced the beer bottle with something like liquid Rohypnol (or similar) hoping to take advantage but Noah drank it instead leaving him in a bad way later on.

Had to chuckle how everytime someone got out of the limo, they went out of their way to shut the door (quite heavily) behind them (great idea).

Insurance is going to be a nightmare with regards to the hired limo. Obtained from a company that just drops them off on a self drive / insure basis, then cycle off on a bike, no way Charity has the relevant insurance (Caleb might just scrape it due to his previous prestige car hire business), etc.

Also, as mentioned earlier, it's so cold that the ice is able to refreeze over preventing Amy from surfacing, yet was cracking / not refreezing fairly easily everywhere else.

The insurance of the limos sprung to my mind straight away as the delivery drivers cycled off to who-knows-where?!

And I've never seen the girls sober up so quickly....! but it was very cold out there on the lake..! wink

So which one has died?

Hopefully not Liam. I quite like his character. Occasionally brings a bit of humour which is sadly lacking these days.

Probably Leyla, there's been talk of her leaving for months.

Impressed they had so many ambulances turn up but no police or fire brigade, as they have taken them to Hotton General everyone will be discharged within 24hrs wink

Yeah Roxy Shahidi had been looking to go for a while as she'd been looking to concentrate on a health / wellness business she setup during the pandemic. Plus a few of the actors had already confirmed on socials / media released info they were leaving this year. I think Natalie-Ann Jamieson (Amy) was one as was the character of Suzi. I think the character of Ella is due to go at some point too as is Aaron.

My guess is the body in the lake is Nate, due to the handmade bracelet which matches the one Franky made for Amy a week or so back. And there's the fact that nobody has spoken to Nate since he left. Plis there's been too many references / screenshots for it to be random. That would also setup another "who's the murderer?" plotline that can run for a while.

Noah being drugged seems about right as there's a reference in the plot for next week saying the Police are investigating spiking / drugging incidents after the drugs in Noah match others.

Yup Nate is a great suggestion, I noticed that his ex was wearing a similar bracelet last night, would have thought he’d be more of a skeleton now though, wasn’t it last summer he went? Having seen bodies pulled from the water in my previous job, you don’t last long generally if the flesh is exposed.

Still loving the way the ladies all follow along the exact same path despite it cracking, high heels, rather than taking a different route and lying down to spread weight. And how the hell did Kelly manage to drag Leyla out of the car?

Never mind, it’s been good last two episodes, acting has generally been spot on and managed to create a sense of suspense. Never had that since wondering what Priya was going to wear next when she was still in the village!

Not in Priya's league I think most would agree, but I'll miss Leyla and Suzy... frown

And now Belle's on her own at Take-A-Vow....!

There's not much love for Kerry!. but I think as Eric Pollard's Parkinsons disease worsens, she may well play a bigger part.

Looks like it is Nate's body in the lake after Amy saying his name just before she died, that leads into the next story of who killed Nate and why.
