By the way there is no Emmerdale on Thursday due to the England v Sebia football game.

Allegedly it was a dedicated episode to highlight "modern slavery".
I mentioned to MrsHogg during the program that I had did an online course about modern slavery whilst I was on night duty last night and could see all the warning flags.

Reading online that Celia's evil side will be revealed to the villagers before long.

Noticed Ray hurt himself more when he punched bear in the face, the lightweight wimp, he can only hurt kids and females.

So, my wife watches every episode of Emmerdale - I'm not a big soap fan so sometimes watch it if I'm sitting with her but I don't really follow the storylines.

Saw the one last night and I wasn't sure whether I should take it for what its meant to be - a contemporary and topical fable on the horrors of modern day slavery- or how it's actually coming across - load of randos (including one large and gruff ex-wrestler who's suddenly gone shy) are forced by an evil lady and her skinny lackey to pluck turkeys and no-one in the neighbouring farms have any idea. The intention may be good, the execution...... questionable.

Me too! If Bear was on top of his game he'd have mullered Ray with ease smile

Surprised the village postie doesn't see something unusual going on! - They can often be the "eyes & ears" for a village community - Having said that, I can't actually remember seeing one in Emmerdale! confused
But villagers do get mail through their letterboxes....!

It's Emmerdale, the postie is probably at the bottom of a lake weighed down by a large rock tied to his leg, and some imposter (who will turn out to be a half-brother of the Dingles that they never mentioned) has taken his place. Oh, and he's also secretly gay.

That's where you're story fell down, it won't be a secret.

There's usually only one gay in the village but Emmerdale bucks the trend.

To be fair, due to the state of the country, it's starting to look like a documentary. laugh

Now we have found out that Kev has a son, with it being Emmerdale what are the odds on his son being Dylan?

It's more likely to be Lewis as Kev admitted it was a barking mad woman called Emma.

Plsu they made the point of having Lewis right there front and centre in shot, albeit with their headphones on and not listening for gossip at neighbouring tables on behalf of Nicola for a change hehe

Yes, that shot was quite a give away IMO!

With Eve spotting Bear and April getting arrested it can't be too long before it all comes out!

I reckon the script writers must read this thread with hints being dropped to keep us guessing if it is Lewis or Dylan that is the son of Kev hehe

With Lewis saying to Nicola his dad was sent to prison before he was born for robbing a bank in Leeds, I wonder how long they show will drag it out before Kev/Lewis having a family reunion?
