LOKI - Marvel's best TV Series To Date?
Discussion
I didn't mind it either, even though it did feel like a filler episode it did have a major reveal about the TVA.
Thought the banter between them was decent.
Are they going to get it on with each other, seems like they're aiming for a romantic angle?
Is it classed as incest or just playing with yourself?
Also if they ever remake Charlie and the Chocolate Factory again, I think Tom would be perfect for Willy Wonka as his acting is quite similar to Gene Wilder in that film.

Very 'flat' episode ... the dialogue between the two variants didn't really come off properly and as others have said, the whole setting felt very 'Doctor Who'-like (I think they were trying to go for a 'Guardians of the Galaxy' vibe and failed).
Just noticeably poorer writing all round than previous eps - the 'drunk' scene on the train was particularly crap.
Despite all the plodding inter-Loki dialogue we didn't really learn much about female Loki, would have been interesting to know her background story. Important reveal about the TVA though which will have big implications.

Came to check if the PH collective held the same opinion as me and the Mrs, did not disappoint. As mentioned, very poorly written, poorly directed in parts, and the same kind of forced chemistry we had between Sam and Bucky.
Some confusion toward the end also with the falling building, did Loki stop that? His powers are all over the place in this. Seems a shame to me Disney own every IP under the sun.

Is she doing to loki what she did to the TVA agent?
Seams like an easy get out of the end if so.
I wonder that too. Perhaps trying to work out whether she can trust him via a simulation. I rewatched it, and the opening scenes with the TVA agent, and the closing scene where Sylvie just walks off, are quite odd and hard to work out unless something odd is afoot. Seams like an easy get out of the end if so.
Well she did try her mind control trick on Loki near the start, soon after the reveal of how that worked on the TSA agent do:
1) as Loki said it didn't work and Mobius will stage a last minute rescue
2) it worked and Sylvie is testing Loki to get something out of him.
3) Loki reflected the spell back on Sylvie and is trying to get something from her, presumably what she actually is after.
The latter two would explain why Loki's powers seem all over the place. Of course I could be wrong and the scriptwriters have something else in mind.

Episode 4 - Keep watching post end theme tune.
First time this series there is something to see.
Not sure it's the first time. Granted episode three wasn't the best there'll ever be but without the first two today's would be meaningless. It definitely got interesting.First time this series there is something to see.
Oh, just had a rethink: when you say first time there's something to see, I guess you mean as in post credit scenes?
