Like his ‘character’ or not, he is certainly living one kind of dream that’s for sure.

I totally realize it’s none of my business, but I’d be fascinated one day to understand the numbers behind it all. YouTube revenue + branding + consulting etc.. minus the cost of the cars, insurance, security, barn thing etc…

Seems to be making it work for him though. Fair play.

Emira rather than Evora.

You also need to add on his original Aston V8 Vantage.

Shmee getting a 296 gts - I don’t care what you think of the guy / character - you have to tip your cap for the garage.

SF90 - 390k
GT4 Lusso - 135k
296 GTS - 270k
Senna - 650k
675LT - 200k
Ford GT - 450k
Mustang GT500 - 130k
Huracan STO - 340k
Aston GT8 - 180k
Aston DBS - 64k
GT Black Series - 445k
SLS Black series (that appears to have issues) - 500k
C class Black Series - 100k
Evora - 70k
Focus RS heritage - 80k
Clio V6 - 40k

Obviously not to everyones taste - but not bad……
I make that just over £4 million - I took the cheapest price on autotrader where available (he drives them so they aren't going to fetch the highest prices)

it's also missing the Zenvo.
You figures are a little out

SF90 was around £500k with all the options
GT500 was around £85k in the USA
Aston DBS was £85k as it was listed for sale just before he purchased it
GT Black Series was around £340k at launch
SLS Black series I think he paid around £250k in Germany
C class Black series was around £110k
Focus RS was £40k new, I believe as he purchased it new along with the Red edition (now sold)
Clio V6 was a project car with faults so would have been around £25k maybe £30K

The 296 will be a nice addition to the fleet but it is 15 months away so no doubt cars will be sold before it arrives plus no way will the Zenvo be staying around.

I guess we can also look forward to 15 videos on the 296 as he brings as along for the journey.

There have been a couple of videos where Tim has been interviewed and he's talked about the YouTube algorithm, branding, consulting he has done or does, he did a video once about the insurance he pays and Harry (Harry's Garage) did a video about his insurance on the back of Tim's video, referencing Tim.

He has said he's spreadsheet crazy and has them for everything, he used to work in an investment bank, so he's very much into numbers.

The only cars that won't leave are cars he got new, the SLS and C class are exceptions as it seems he wants the Black Series Set, I don't think there will be anymore cars for the team like the G Wagon as he doesn't need them with the loner cars he gets.

The prices of his cars, would the Aston GT8 not be the same value as other GT8's and his high millage not a concern as his is the only GT8 with a unique engine plaque as his has was it the then CEO who's name was on the plaque, I cannot remember exactly who it was, but it's the only one, also the Ford GT even with the high millage it has the OEM upgraded details, like the seats re-stitched in the gold and also the gold paddles.

The Zenvo though, maybe there is some deal, maybe he is getting the car at cost price rather than retail but I cannot see the car going anywhere for a long time, he's always been very much the story behind the car and the journey.

Meanwhile Paul Wallace is back to driving a secondhand golf.

Must be doing badly if he can’t even blag a loaned press car better than that these days let alone get Magnitude to secure funding on anything vaguely resembling his channel name,

STG mille miglia looks like fun. Does look like a dream tour!

If I wasn't looking after a 10 week old baby not sure I'd want to sit through it for 40 minutes, but it picks up at the end.

It is quite sad from a viewer point of view how far the channel has dropped, but in a recent podcast (possibly Behind The Glass) he did mention that he never saw YouTube as a long term thing, so maybe he's been slowly winding things down? Suppose he's already done the Lambo by 25 thing, and owning and restoring (but not so much driving) his dream Lambo...

Paul Wallace did it from nothing without the help of a trust fund but he never managed to find that next gear that all the other channels did.

I'll just go in the branch at Watford, to see him rushing around taking too long to make a plain quarter pounder meal biggrin

He seems not to have the clickbait skills of the others such as STG or Archie Hamilton, so I guess content is drying up. I was hoping to see more with that "Lamborghini" bike He bought a couple of years back, but content is still all over the place.

Even I thought Archie would get an X5M, rather than work his way through Audi's RS range rolleyes I don't see much from TGE as before. STG's Mille Miglia trip was good to watch. He seems to have a good tag team with Tony from Gravelwood.

Just caught up with the first of Sam STG's Mille Miglia videos. The video/production quality puts a lot of TV broadcast stuff to shame.

Brilliant watch.

You wouldn't hear of Shmee letting marriage or a global pandemic get in the way of feeding the YouTube algorithm.

Tim has said on the channel on many occasions that the only way he could afford or justify a million pound car is by selling half the fleet, suddenly he is getting the Zenvo, no way has it happened without a massive deal behind the scenes, give it 8 to 10 months for the promotional tour to be done and it will be gone.

If he really did have 1.2 million to spend I am sure he would have got a Mclaren P1.
