Going to see his new RSQ8 whilst it still had protective white film over the bonnet and bits of foam protecting the doors when it had just been delivered and not prepped yet was a bit cringeworthy - but his Goodwood content has been alright to watch. Half expected to see Paul Wallace turn up in his Golf wearing his Mercedes cap

The prices of his cars, would the Aston GT8 not be the same value as other GT8's and his high millage not a concern as his is the only GT8 with a unique engine plaque as his has was it the then CEO who's name was on the plaque, I cannot remember exactly who it was, but it's the only one, also the Ford GT even with the high millage it has the OEM upgraded details, like the seats re-stitched in the gold and also the gold paddles.
The Zenvo though, maybe there is some deal, maybe he is getting the car at cost price rather than retail but I cannot see the car going anywhere for a long time, he's always been very much the story behind the car and the journey.
If he really did have 1.2 million to spend I am sure he would have got a Mclaren P1.
The reason was also that he wouldn't have been able to drive a car like a Veyron, CCR etc many miles so wouldn't get much in the way of content.
I would just be very surprised if the car went after a year, as I said maybe yeah some sort of deal, he car at cost price instead of RRP, I don't know, time will tell.

He seems not to have the clickbait skills of the others such as STG or Archie Hamilton, so I guess content is drying up. I was hoping to see more with that "Lamborghini" bike He bought a couple of years back, but content is still all over the place.
Even I thought Archie would get an X5M, rather than work his way through Audi's RS range
I don't see much from TGE as before. STG's Mille Miglia trip was good to watch. He seems to have a good tag team with Tony from Gravelwood.Meanwhile Tim has just got a Merc E500 estate with a 5ltr V8 and 150k miles!!!
In terms of variety and production quality I have really warmed to STG lately! Clearly not working with the biggest budget (look at his garage compared to the likes of Shmee) but seems to be making it work with what’s he’s got and having some great adventures. All the while capturing it in a high quality way for us to view.
It really does go to show that nowadays a single person with a decent camera, a drone and some know how can make some high quality content, that even a decade ago would have needed a film crew / helicopter rental!

Agreed. Tony makes it unwatchable, IMO. I managed 5 mins - when they gotlost immediately, and Tony was being useless, I realised I had better things to watch/do with my time. Shame, because I was really interested in the content. But it was like watching a semi-literate drunk east-end football fan shouting at someone in the pub. I really can't stand that Tony though.

Echoing what others have said, I really enjoy Sam's content in general of which it is mostly roadtrips and multiple of them.

I had it on my other screen, so whenever Tony opened his gob I switched to doing other stuff. At some point Sam genuinely was visibly pissed off with him, quite nice that he kept it in I thought. mattdavies said:

Yeah I enjoy Sams' content these days. Not so much the stuff he does that are likely sponsorship related, but his Ferrari content definitely, and they are great to watch. His love for the 360 echoes mine and I'm really glad he has loads of content on it, and not the useless typical "I took my Ferrari to Mcdonalds, here's 5 things I love about my Ferrari, followed by a things I hate, followed by "I sold my Ferrari". He has a genuine love for that car and I can't see him part with it anytime soon, and if he ever would it could only be for a CS. Echoing what others have said, I really enjoy Sam's content in general of which it is mostly roadtrips and multiple of them.
Another clear favourite of mine is Micha Charoudin. I find it amazing how he can keep his content so fresh despite 99% of it being filmed from practically the same location. He clearly gets recognized a lot but doesn't let the youtube fame rise to his head, so to say. Just a great character.

Indeed. It helps that he is based in what it pretty much the centre of the universe for motoring enthusiasts and he just has to loiter about the Ring car parks and content turns up on his doorstep.Plus, any owner of a nice car at the Ring is more than likely to be an enthusiast so would be willing to chat to him about the car which is not going to be true for supercar owners elsewhere.

At the end of one of his recent videos he encouraged people to come up to him and say hi, even if he's filming. Thought that was nice as I'm sure many would be put off if they saw him with a camera. On a similar note did anyone watch AdamC's video from his AdamC-fest event? Great turn out but I'm sure he must have been getting very frustrated with the gaggle of kids following him around all day for what appears to be no good reason...

I really suggest trying it again, About 10 mins in Tony gets more serious. You can see & hear them both getting excited when doing the timed stages & Tony running down the line of cars to get their time sheet stamped in time. Really looking forward to Vol 2 on Sunday!

I mean you'll always cringe or wince about something like that for one reason or another but sometimes there's a payoff at the end.

The thing with Tony is from hearing him over the years on the podcast is what you see is what you get, he didn't have it great as a kid, didn't do well at school and iirc he left school with no qualifications, hence his "I cannot read" saying, he's got a platform to get his views across and he isn't afraid to say them.
Cannot argue that he doesn't know what he's doing, considering how well he's done for himself, yeah okay he sometimes makes a mistake on the podcast but it's all on the fly and has said he has to protect the trade when it comes to prices and what he says.
I think Tony and Sam work well together, they could not come from more different backgrounds but somehow the chemistry is there, iirc I did find him a bit annoying when he first came on the scene, but once you get to know him and more of his story he comes across as cheeky chappy, that is what happened with me, I mean not everyone likes everyone else.
I cannot wait for part two of the video, but as I said before it seems like it's going to be a bit on the short side, it could have been two hours long surely.
