Looks like Ratarossa has teamed up with YCR (Yorkshire Car Resto) for his F40 replica build, seems an odd choice.
They have some excellent fabricators employed there. If they were nearer I'd certainly choose them to do my E36.
Not sure I would use them, looking at the E30 they did for Alex, loads of overspray and it did not look the best job almost rushed in places.
Overspray aside, I thought the repairs looked spot on.
In reality it was rushed so that they could give it back to the owner at her car show. If it was mine I'd be happy to give them as much time as they needed. Ordering a LHD six branch for a RHD car was a rookie error.

Yiannis kid manages to lose control of his car going not that quick, in a straight line in the dry.

Stay off your phones kids.

Anybody with kids who might want to share the video to the youngsters?

Social media is so prevalent these days that I wouldn't be surprised that a prevalent YouTuber posting about his kids having an accident has more impact on kids than a police campaign. In my (simple) opinion, there are very few threads on PH discussing the road signs saying "keep left" or "don't drive tired" etc - but we're on vol 5, page 216 of this topic.

I do.

So, he may have been on his phone, but what actually happened, did he freak out and slam the brakes on?

The car reacted like it had a tyre blow out.

Posting dated, timed and locationed footage of your son driving without due care and attention is pretty funny.

It adds nothing to the discussion on kids having accidents because the cause wasn't discussed honestly - you don't crash driving on a straight road!

Its pretty obvious that he was distracted by something... drifted left a bit, looked up when the other car came past, massively over corrected the slight drift left then over corrected again and braked hard and round the car went.

Should have taught him how to reverse, looks like it would have driven out of the ditch with a minimal effort and a push.

I think perhaps it might just benefit us all if you dialled back the "I speak on behalf of YouTubers" bit, and maybe stop mentioning your channel a bit. Not least because there are actual YouTubers in this thread who make money from their channels.
What about dialling back the 'I speak on behalf of Pistonheaders' bit.

Exactly, grumpy old man who has never made interesting content tries to knock down someone actually putting themselves out there and trying to grow a channel despite all the pitfalls and difficulty it entails. It takes nothing to be courteous and encouraging, but many seem to choose the snide and unpleasant option, as if dragging someone down somehow makes your own existence better

One thing I find interesting is that when you look at the list of attendees of the PH meetups/events you never see these people on the list.

When I post something, even if I'm having a go at someone, I have in my mind if I'm happy for someone to approach me in person and want to continue the discussion. Not that it's likely to happen but at least you're aware that you could be meeting that person face to face one day.

But people like these seem to just want to either be experts, wildly morally superior or just smugly putting their point across no matter how much it brings down the tone of the place.

I love the idea that someone who spent the last month trolling a thread about EVs is taking the moral high-ground here. Is it because you were shown the door from that thread in no uncertain terms?

I have a YouTube channel. It's not about cars, and I don't really do anything to promote or monetize it. Yet it still manages to average a few thousand views per video. You'll never hear me wading into a thread with the likes of Jayemm in it pretending to be an expert about YouTube because I've got a few thousand views.

Completely agree with that analysis. There was no other reason for that sudden steering twitch than the car passing.

Found it hilarious that halfway through that video he says the accident happened a couple of months ago but he was waiting for the new dashcam to be released as they are sponsoring the video. Let's monetise!

This is Yianni whos previous highlights include handing out food & drink to the homeless whilst wearing a Richard Mille & LV satchel and being paid by Forex scammers to upload a video of him selling them a RR Ghost for cash, which as I'm sure you can imagine was all for show. He also knows Bacary Sagna, but you'd never hear him mention it hehe

I also noticed that Archie now has the Mclaren 720S back that he sold to a Forex scammer.

I thought it's sad that he goes in to an honest business and so early on is taking bribes from idiots for being in a video.

I'll never forget the one where TGE took money to have that autistic guy in his video and TGE only just realised at the beginning of the video the guy was wildly autistic (maybe even a scammer too) and he had to get through the entire video with this weirdo in his car.

Mrs DG, leaves comments on videos posted online, in which the content creators, rarely reply; “Why do you post? “ “They might see it.”

Ten years ago, if you’d seen someone, walk down the road talking to themselves, you would think them crazy”

Now it seems fine, to use a social media device to talk to yourself.

Rant, Friday night, I’ve had a few cold one’s

Are you talking about the car hire guy with the SVJ? I still remember that clip. The guy didn't even own a hire car company, and after that clip went up, he decided to change his account to some weird trolling account.
