My money is on Ukraine winning and I've heard none of the songs. Fair play that they are getting support and compassion from other nations, but I can't help but think probably the last thing Ukraine actually needs or wants is the cost and palaver of hosting next year. They've plenty of other more important things to spend their money on, like for example rebuilding their cities and infrastructure and getting the country back on its feet - assuming the war isn't still rumbling by then.

While it does currently cost a lot to host wouldn’t it be nice if Ukraine could host it as a fundraiser. Lots of events and festivals manage to put something into the local economy.

You could even host it geographically elsewhere and funnel the profit into rebuilding Ukraine.

I want Ukraine to come last. Just for the sheer awkward ness of it. You're at war, we support you, but your song is st so tough. That would make more headlines.

But it won't come last. It will win by a mile.

Stupid, virtue signalling irrelevance. Putin should have invaded Eurovision & I would be there supporting him. tank

If Australia won, it would be hosted somewhere in Europe, same will happen for Ukraine.

The best up yours to putin would be to have the Russian from Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga do the half time show in full gay mode. laugh

Looked like they’ve cranked up the rock/guitar backing track element on our entry in the latest rehearsals.

Really this has got to be top 5 position, he has a seriously good rock voice as well.

He has a horribly warbling voice, perfect for Eurovision. biggrin

It's our best entry for years, in my opinion. Good song, great melody, fantastic voice.
Surely, surely it won't get zero points, will it?

Ukraine will win, and if they are able to host it next year they will win that one too. Then, after that, we can go back to the UK loosing every year. Unless Russia are allowed back in then they will become the new UK and come last for ever more.

I just listened to the UK entry for the first time. What a bloody horrible noise.

In fact, it's so bad - it could win!

Just to put a rumour to bed, whoever comes 2nd will not be automatically hosting next year.

A few countries have already put their names forward for hosting should Ukraine win.

Personally I believe EV will go to the runners up and ask them if them want to host.

Worldwide, we are second favourites to win this yearlaugh

Anyway, on with the show, Enjoybiggrin
