I think it is a medium. How are you finding the stumpjumper?

Not had a chance to try it yet. Can't wait for this Saturday. I've just been riding it around the city to bed the brakes in properly before I go loose on terrain where I really need them!!!!

The only problem so far is a crackling noise coming from the joints of the rear sub-frame when I pedal hard or go over bumpy ground. I think there is grit in the joints so I'm taking it back to the cycle shop in the morning for a quick disassemble, clean, regrease and back on the road.

Hopefully that'll sort it.

Its more likely to be coming from your pedals cranks or seatpost. If they didnt grease them up well when they assembled the bike will creak. i spent ages hunting around for the creak on my bike and in the end it was the seatpost!!

Definately not the pedals. I just bought some new DMR's yesterday and had them fitted professionally and the noise is still there. More likely to be my seatpost as they had to cut it down a little for me.

Cheers for the tip...i'll check it out now as I keep the bike next to my desk in the office. Can't afford to get this one nicked too!!!!

Your little girl doesn't think it's that awesome!

Nice bike though. I picked one of these racing machines up at the bike shop the other day. They're like feathers! I thought my MTB was light at 12.7kg!

yep they are hope hubs

off the top of my head the spec goes as
SPEC FSR s works frame
bomber Z1 freeride forks
hope mini mono (F) and Mono m4 (R) brakes with custom red anodized leavers and piston covers
hope stem
azonic bars
middleburn cranks and rings
Hope xc hubs on mavic x321 rim on the back and atomlab rim on the front
and a mix of LX and XT gears
