I didn't much like it, but some others do.

Predictable tosh but harmless fun I suppose.

Disappointed when I watched it a while ago, but then again I've watched much worse.

Suprised by the above two comments, thought it was bloody awesome. He's very no-nonsense which is refreshing for a film about an ex-spy, and it's very cleverly compiled.

I loved it. There's nothing more satisfying than justice served by a raging threshing machine.

Decent film if you're into that sort of thing.

Certainly kept me entertained the whole way through.

Pretty much non stop action. Definately worth a watch. Is sky movies free this weekend or next? I fancy watching it again.

I liked it.

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

Or the one for ph

I dont know who you are. I dont know what you want. If you are looking to troll, I can tell you I dont have much influence over the mods to get you banned. But what I do have are a very particular set of reps; reps that I have acquired over a very long career on the misc. reps that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you GTFO of the misc, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will neg you.

As this is a good revenge type film , ' Man on Fire ' must be one of the best of this genre

I enjoyed it, there are some good bits in it.

However don't try and think too much about the plot or teh way he 'detects' his prey.

Must be one small place Paris with only one construction site etc etc smile

main thing for me is once the action starts there are no soppy bits.

It's not citizen kane, it's fairly nuts and bolts post Bourne revenge actioner, but its well done and step above in terms of acting and budget compared to say your statham/siegal B movie. I bought it and have watched more than once, it's a linear film, and an easy watch, little plot and that's okay from time to time.

One of most satisfying scenes in any film I reckon - if you let yourself be drawn in by the story up to that point, you're sat there, thinking, "Go on. Go on. Do it! Yessssss!" smile

The scene I'm talking about? Without giving too much away... "Nails."

Found it a bit slow to start, but once the action started I enjoyed it! as mentioned you have to not read too far into the script while watching as you will spend the duration asking yourself "why?" "what if?" etc
