He's talented, good looking (apparently), worth several hundred million, lusted after by a sizeable proportion of the female population and clearly a decent bloke.
I, on the other hand, am talentless, ugly (apparently), worth fk all, lusted after only by the strange old woman down the street and a complete bd.

S'not fair weeping

I do hope the new film is good, because Pirates 2 & 3 were shi-ite.

Sans Orlando 'wooden' Bloom and Keira 'no good' Knightly it should be.

So he's obviously a complete and utter git.
I completely agree. He is better looking, more talented and far more successful than I will ever be. The fact that he is obviously quite pleasant and the antithesis of the traditional selfish movie star just goes to show that he must be a complete arse!!! punch

What a top bloke, that is something those kids won't forget in a hurry clap
He may be better looking and more talented than you, but he definitely doesn't have that over me .... honestly.

I'm going to get both kids writing a letter every day to him, although being an hour away from London may make his popping onto a train at Waterloo with all the pirate gear look a little suspicious

Taken from wiki

"In 2007, his daughter recovered from a serious illness, an E. coli infection that began to cause her kidneys to shut down and resulted in an extended hospital stay. To thank Great Ormond Street Hospital, Depp visited the hospital in November 2007 dressed in his Captain Jack Sparrow outfit and spent 4 hours reading stories to the children. He later donated £1 million (about $2 million) to the hospital in early 2008."

What an arse.

Link should work for all but if you can't click it for any reason...

School kid in London writes a letter to "Captain Jack Sparrow" asking for assistance in a mutiny against the school teachers. Depp gets said letter and during a break in filming the new Pirates movie turns up at the School unanounced in full Jack Sparrow mode with other pirate cast members and entertains the kids in a hasitly called school assembly. Not that many A list movie stars would do that.

Top bloke!
He is a total star. My nephew has a problem with his heart, which will one day shorten his life, and hence was invited on a trip to Lapland by the Make A Wish foundation people. Johnny Depp provided the in-flight entertainment as Captain Jack Sparrow. Turns out one of his kids got treated for something potentially lethal and he's been doing good works to thank the children's hospitals ever since. On top of this he was sweet to my sister, gave nephew an autograph. What a thoroughly nice guy.

Top bloke, indeed.

What an amazing bloke.
It means a lot more when you hear that he also does it without the BBC cameras present.

You mean like at this school yesterday? (the photos and film on all the websitesd came from the camera phones of the children and the teachers. The Press only found out after the school told them)

Wasn't it him who declared himself a big fan of the Fast Show, and said complimentary things about Paul Whitehouse's acting ?

Then really enjoyed taking part in a 'Suit You' sketch with Ken and Kenneth.

Yes. Search for "Rowley Birkin - sad story" on YouTube. Apparently it moved johnny to tears and it was this scene that made him want to work with Whitehouse on the show.

I really rate Depp; he's a fantastic actor and generally quite down to earth it would seem.

SWMBO would also leave me for him in a heartbeat.

The censoredirked
You're swmbo would have to fight mine, most of my ex's and a good percentage of the female population of the planet .....

So he's obviously a complete and utter git.
