Smith has always been a bit of an oddity in that he usually did make sense. Still married ti Sarah Greene as well I think.

Agreed
You should be prepared to say or keep stumm
With some of the others like Feltz etc and that Tomiskyg woman on Andrew Marr show I just dunno I believe them tbh Feltz I think is publicity seeking and her past programmes have shown poor judgement etc.
Sorry but raises doubts in my mind

So you would prefer people who have had such problems to remain silent?

I'm sure the Catholic Church would love you to become a priest. You have all the right atributes.

In a country where our libel laws are abused from overseas and celebs silence the media with superinjunctions it amuses me that others think these people might have been able to say anything even had they wanted to.

Watching the Football League Show the other night and Dave Jones was on. Along with Matthew Kelly I'm pretty certain the both of them have a jaundiced view of this scrum. As for the Catholic Church, it colluded with governments for years abusing a lot of society. Unmarried Mums, Orphans and the poor. In that abuse even Nuns colluded with the Priests. The Governments who allowed them to do it haven't been pulled up yet though.

I didn't say I was sorry about him popping off. I was referring to the good work he did - which is not being denied by anybody.

The problem we have now is that the dark side of his character is emerging.

As for Airfix - highly recommended to all (as well as all the other plastic manufacturers).

To him, I think it did.

Has this one been done yet? It looks 'shopped, but the book exists, and the BFI site shows that Savile was a presenter on the associated BBC series.

I think it's the same with a good few deeply religious people, in that they think their faith absolves them from any guilt. "I believe, and therefore I am good"

Hard to say now - as he isn't around to explain his actions.
