Despite the BBC, and I hate to tell you they admit it themselves.

The BBC have a liberal bias maybe. Thats what a couple of executives admitted. They clearly have a Royal bias too which has a right wing badge. They also don’t particularly like Corbyn. So to call them left wing is stretching it a little.

Wiki: Liberals generally support civil rights, democracy, secularism, gender equality, internationalism and the freedoms of speech, the press, religion and markets.

The question is which of those don’t you agree with?

Disgusting liberal anti Brexit bias on the BBC this morning.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-wales-44215720/tv-...

Report showed a woman stopping a runaway horse by jumping in front of it,

Clearly though, the horse represents brexit and freedom from the EU and the woman is an anti democratic attempt to stop the will of the people.

Drip drip drip day after day,

Corbyn fell out of favour with the left, i'm not entirey sure why, but it happened literally over night, one minute he's the lefts golden boy, next minutes he was public enemy number 1, and then they threw him under a bus with all the anti-Semitism stuff.

Did anyone listen to yesterday afternoon's play on Radio 4?

As far as I could deduce the message it was that in a distopian future:

  • men basically have to have one-on-one training not to be sexist pigs/rapists in waiting
  • the state will use mind control to stop immigrants being uncomfortable with England's historic buildings and how they represent our evil past, and to get them to like being forced not to wear burkas
  • the indigenous population (who are all nasty and stupid) have to be prevented from seeing the flag because of the dangerous nationalistic feelings it represents
The finale had the (black) goodie literally reclaiming the only Union Jack in existence and saying now at last it represented her.

It may have been an elegant satire on something, but it just felt nasty and racist to me.

It was quite something. Just for added BBC-ness it was set in London but recorded in Salford, so half the cast had Mancunian accents. hehe

Eh? Are you saying it wasn't about the referendum in Ireland?

Astonishing.

Sarcasm aside, switching off R4 is an ever more frequent occurrence these days.

The News Quiz was unreal last week. I had to listen out of morbid intrigue. Still, they had a Corbyn joke to upset Momentum thus maintaining their facade of un-bias.

The bit that did make me titter was after 45 minutes of being bashed over the head with "isn't migration wonderful, why do the indigenous population not want us to have our own culture?" we cut straight to the 3pm news. First story was the shooting in Liege.

Short Cuts on Radio 4 (funny little compilation of radio stories).

This week's theme: acts of political activism.

Three little stories, all reported from the POV of the activist, so all sympathetic. In the interests of political balance, they were:

1. Left wing
2. Left wing
3. Left wing

I see the BBC are making up rumours, reporting them and then commenting on them and then reporting them as facts on the 9'Oclock news !
