Couldn't find another thread on this, if there is one please post a link.

Just wondered if anyone on here follows non league football, if so how did your team do this season?

Gainsborough trinity for me, Blue square north. Ended up doing better than anyone could imagine reaching the play off final, beaten by Nuneaton 1-0 who were definitely the better side on the day.

Looking forward to next season, hopefully getting a few away days in on the way.

Wrexham supporter here, another season that looked like it was going well before falling at the last hurdle.

I live in Chelmsford though and keep a bit of an eye on them too, pretty much the same situation there though!

Being in this area I also keep an eye on both Tottenham and West Ham, both of which started well and dropped away towards the end of the season.

Does anyone want to give me another team to follow so that they can also have a good start followed by a dissapointing end to the season.

Being a Stevenage fan, the majority of my life has been spent watching football at the 'elite' level of non league.

First started going regularly in the 98/99 season up to 00/01 when I started to go to Tottenham with a school mate.

After turning 16 and the price of Spurs ballooning - I went back to watching the 'boro with my old man in 2003.

So I've seen years of mid table non league mediocrity but loved it.

My first away game (other than the 2002 trophy final) was a 3-2 win at Gravesend and Northfleet (/Ebbsfleet) in 03/04 - don't remember much of the game but remember feeling stupidly excited on arrival - a buzz I get at every new ground now.

As great as our double (nearly triple) promotion has been, I have to say, I miss non league.

So many 'big' league teams fans' seem to have such a st attitude to what football is about. I miss the grounds, I miss terracing (Brentford was our only away trip with terracing in the league I believe), I miss going to other teams' clubhouse and having banter with opposing fans over a beer - in the league you have do research on where you can safely go! It's pathetic.
(None of the above applies to Luton - the only club I wish would go under)

In a season when we have visited massive grounds with a lot of history, Stourbridge away in the Fa Cup has been my game of the season.

Would you care to be the founder member of the YCSC Stevenage branch?

Oof. Feel for your lot atm. Loads of backroom stuff that needs sorting.

Kingstonian supporter here, I do all their pitchside photography. Supplied quite a lot for the t&m program over the last few years. Got a lot of time for them. Hope to see the club back on its feet soon.

I was so chuffed for you guys yesterday. Luton fans really are such a bunch of ignorant, big time, jumped up, wkers.

Not so happy with the news you guys are leaving the Crescent?

Great little ground that is (apart from the 'open air' mens toilet in the away end where you piss against a 5 ft breeze block wall with some rain gutters at the bottom).

Yes, they got the go ahead for a new community stadium at Clifton Moor, north of the City, and will share it along with York City Knights. Its part of an extended out of town development, couple of superstores as well.

To be honest Bootham's falling down around your ears these days, and the money isn't there for the upkeep. Plus land like that in the city centre.......

Mansfied Town fan here. And former Alfreton Town player.
Mansfield had a really good season...right up until the play-offs.

Can't stand the system but I think we'll be slightly less pissed off than Wrexham fans who finished 18(?) points ahead of York.

If we must have play-offs then can we follow the Italian Serie B system - there are play-offs but if the second placed team is 10 points ahead, then they go up automatically and the play-offs are scrapped.

Alfreton did well to stay up after their first season in the too flight.
