Oh dear! Poor Chloe. Still lucky she wasn't a Labour minister otherwise she'd have got another, much worse skewering on PH.

I'm suprised Cameron and Osborne went for this. I'm wondering why. Is there likely to be snap election perhaps?

Hardly. More like Osborne couldn't face losing a vote on this next week because his own party backbenchers side with Labour over defering a tax rise Labour implemented.

All these MPs would have got a free ride from presenters.
They rarely get a free ride - you've gone too far in the opposite direction purely for effect and it doesn't work. You must listen to PM, Toady, 5 Live and other interviews surely.

All we 'learnt' from that interview which we didn't know before was that an experienced assertive personality on home turf can verbally hector and harass an inexperienced less assertive personality playing away, but that's hardly news or learning for plenty of us smile
What a strange view!

She's a professional politician, a minister not some shy schoolgirl.
She should have known the answers and gone there prepared, it's not as if Paxmans style of interviewing is a secret.

But an accurate one.

As mentioned earlier being prepared is one thing, being prepared (or allowed) to convey the information is another. If you don't get it, I can see why you need to use Paxman's blood pressure to work out what's going on, but in reality it won't tell you much. Entertain you, probably.
