Well Put - This is also very thought provoking. I did a bit of research, and the facts he quotes, appear to be very factual http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZtc2ma2GEQ

Would ordering the death of another countries citizens not in anyway constitute an act of war? Or at least a reason to remove diplomatic ties.bunch of fecking savages who need to grow the hell up

It is like a planet split into two ages, with Muslims (and other religions) still adamantly believing in God/heaven/hell and letting that belief control their day to day lives as pretty much all humans would have in the past and a more free logical world where life takes up life day to day.
There was a guy in Pakistan on the news, seemed quite normal yet his quote for the camera was "We Muslims are prepared to die for Islam".
I feel sorry for them. Sorry that they can still be controlled in such a way.
It was only in the 80's when the Chief nutjob in Saudi actually declared that 'they' now believed the world wasn't flat. I kid you not. There was a guy in Pakistan on the news, seemed quite normal yet his quote for the camera was "We Muslims are prepared to die for Islam".

I watched the 13 minute clip on Youtube the other night. I'm sorry but there's no way all of these nutters setting stuff on fire round the World have actually sat and watched it.....
There is no way any of them read 'The Satanic Verses' yet loads of them made total cocks of themselves over it. The religion of peace, my fkin' arse!nightflight said:
The worrying thing is that they are outbreeding us, both in this country and globally. This doesn't bode well for the future.
Is this the point where we blame the bleeding heart liberals for not letting us simply kick them in the gonads and telling them to get the fk out of a country built on Christian (like it or not) values?I don't subscribe to Christian values either. I don't like any form of organised religion.

The more I watch these animals destroying their own town to try to punish people living in America who don't give a st, the more Churchill in The River War seems to have got it spot on.
Just what I was thinking. Personally I couldn't give a crap if they smash up the festering stholes or ghettoes they live in, be it abroad or here. If that's how they want to live then they can fill their boots.
I think all these people bleating on about multiculturalism and celebrating diversity need to take a long hard look at the situation.

hat would be Christian values, if you subscribe to politeness. Christianity encompasses many different religious organisations, but the basic tenets are well worth following.
Do you mean the christian values of genocide, slavery, gang rape, and having to sacrifice your own child in order to prove your faith. God, if he exists which he doesn't, seems to be very keen on child sacrifice. Isn't that one of the foundations of Christianity. The fact that he gave his own sons life in order to absolve man of his sins, or some other such nonsense.I'm off out for the day now to watch my daughter doing a charity skydive. She's not doing it in order to gain favour with some supernatural being in heaven, but out of her compassion for her fellow human beings. And before you say it, compassion is not an emotion given to us by God. It is an emotion which is apparent in other creatures on the planet.

Are any of those things actually the basic tenets of Christianity? I can't find any evidence that Jesus Christ recommended or endorsed any of them, can you?
If you're referring to the story of Abraham and (the Jewish) God's test of his faith, that comes from a long time before Christ, doesn't it?
Also, Jesus' sacrifice is not what I was referring to by following the basic tenets of Christianity.
Here: "compassion is not an emotion given to us by God. It is an emotion which is apparent in other creatures on the planet." how does your second sentence go anyway to 'proving' your first?
I don't have much truck with organised religion, either. Having been raised as a Catholic I'm appalled at the hypocrisy and downright lies endorsed by the Catholic clergy and the supposedly infallible Pope in particular. I do, however, try to live my life without causing anyone else any trouble or forcing my beliefs down anyone's throat. Whether there is a God or not, I guess I may never know, but just as Islam is not all about the actions of some poor, misguided fools who can't grasp the concept of free speech, Christian values have nothing to do with "genocide, slavery, gang rape, and having to sacrifice your own child in order to prove your faith"
Are you capable of perspective on this issue, or has your obvious hatred for religion in general clouded your judgement?

Jesus did endorse all of the above. He said "All that has been written before me, is surely the word of God". I'll find the passage for you when I have more time. Are any of those things actually the basic tenets of Christianity?
