He has been pretty smart so far, it's not over yet.
He's not been smart, but he's had smart lawyers all paid for by us taxpayers.

Attention all hate rousing/benefit sponging Immigrant guests in our country: Do NOT bite the hand (Hook) that feeds you, or you will be going on a Summer Holiday to Gitmo.... Enjoy yourself Mr Hook, funny how much you so really really wanted to stay in the hated UK when push came to shove!

Pesky freedom of speech and assembly, eh? What we need is a system of law that has no truck with such foolishness. How about Sharia law?
I don't think anyone is suggesting extremes like the removal of those freedoms.

I would have thought it possible to preserve them and not go through the comedic circus that this case has done.

All this case has done is show how possible it is to take the piss with a system born of good intention.

As a country we need to grow a pair. I'm not keen on the EU interfering in our legal affairs. And I think there needs to be a limit to the number of appeals either side can make. With time limits so that we don't see ridiculousness like this stretched out over years at great expense.

Ref "freedom of speech" (a myth in any country IMO), why anyone should be allowed to brazenly call for the death of fellow citizens is beyond me. This is not being "civilised" to my way of thinking. It's stupid.

Well, he is on his way to RAF Mildenhall as of 7.15pm to be handed over to US Marshalls, so will be there pretty soon. Hopefully if the jet is ready and waiting, he could even be out of the country my midnight as I don't believe Mildenhall has any jail facilities. But it does have a shop selling kilts and sporrans, so maybe just time to grab some souvenirs.

One of those pilot-free aircraft, good few hundred miles out into the atlantic. Terrible loss of a plane wouldn't it be.
