Another article about the inability for anything to stick - it reads like Mandleson MkII.

How surprising.
Pretty much what I thought.

What is it about people from a certain group, that they are never without a whiff of something bad-smelling about them. Baroness Warsi / Dizaei / Uddin / Baron Paul ... what themes seem to be common to all of them?

Taylor...

As a percentage, are these different culture people any more guilty than the rest?

They are, actually! Another good reason to hate the Brown/Blair/Milliband/Balls(up) shower.

My lack of surprise is nothing to do with Vaz's ethnicity or skin colour and everything to do with him being Keith Vaz.

Much as I dislike some of the crap Vaz spouts, I really don't think he is dumb enough to leave such an obvious money trail.

A source close to the initial investigations said it had been “frustrated” by a “Labour-dominated committee who wanted to do everything they could not to find against him”. “They frustrated any rigorous investigation and thereby undermined the system,” said the source.

The source also expressed concern over Mr Vaz’s current position as chairman of the home affairs select committee, saying it was “odd” for someone who is holding the police to account to be under suspicion themselves.
I sometimes wonder what the difference is between our governments and Third World tin-pot governments these days...

don't you just love PH, no mention of the timing of the telegraph articles, it's not like they've done it before.

Come on Adrian, the guy is a total weasle - always has been. He's part of a group of people, and I don't mean politicians, that have shown nothing but contempt for everyone with only one singular goal - to feather their nests at every opportunity without a thought or morals or the law.

I’m not defending him, I think he’s a supercilious obnoxious self-righteous creep, but it is conference time.

Fear ye not. The BBC headline this morning - Radio 4 - is about the search for the missing 5 yo, followed by Labour's plans to brand non-academics as 'TB'. I may have mis-interpreted that.

Mr. Vaz will have to wait - probably months - for his denouement. Oh yes.
