He hasn't been seen campaigning at all around Leicester East but still people will vote him in.

The sheep will all keep voting for him because he's Labour.

The Conservative candidate Edward Yi He has been campaigning everyday all over Leicester East but it still doesn't look like it will help.

I just don't know how someone with so many allegations can still hold his seat from 1987 to now.

How this oily sleazebag has survived this long is a mystery, he must have some serious st on people in high office.
I know tell me about it.

Any other MP would be fired from their seat for just 1 of the many things he has done over the years

  • 1989 - Led a protest march for Salman Rushdies book "The Satanic Verses" to be banned but only a few weeks earlier had promised his full support to Salman Rushdie
  • 1990 - After a bombing attack by the Provisional Irish Republican Army against a British Army recruiting centre in Leicester, Vaz publicly suggested that the British Army had stored explosives on the premises
  • 2000 - Accepted several thousands of pounds from solicitor Sarosh Zaiwalla which he failed to declare then blocked Parliamentary standards watchdog investigation into the allegations
  • 2001 - Took large payments in return for granting British citizenship to the Hinduja brothers and was dismissed from his post as Europe Minister
  • 2001 - Assisted Anglo-Iraqi billionaire Nadhmi Auchi in his attempts to avoid extradition to France
  • 2002 - Suspended from the House of Commons for one month after a Committee on Standards and Privileges inquiry found that he had made false allegations against Eileen Eggington, a former policewoman
  • 2008 - Vaz's total expenses of £173,937 in 2008/2009 were ranked 45th out of 647 MPs. During the year Mr Vaz made claims of about £16,000 relating to the house, including more than £480 on 22 cushions, 17 of them silk, from John Lewis; £2,614 for a pair of John Lewis leather armchairs and an accompanying foot stool; £1,000 on a dining table and leather chairs; £750 on carpets; and £150 on a lamp and lampshade

It's sad that so many people vote for him in my constituency even though he doesn't do anything for the community as well as all the stuff he's done in the past censored

Says it all.

Perhaps says as much about those voting for him than it does about him.

Mohammed here at work is in a whatsapp group for his mosque (he lives in Leicester) and he got a text saying it was his duty to vote labour, we argued all day with him about their policies and he didn't care a jot his duty was to vote labour so he was going to.

It says more, knowing the electorate in that area.

Bloke who has a long history of lobbying on behalf of dodgy businessmen who are seeking visas and passports is now head of a new parliamentary committee to deal with issues concerning immigration and visas. smile

Keith's little black book must have loads of interesting information in it because he keeps on getting voted into positions of influence by his colleagues.

Vaz, the slime just keeps on oozing. Rent boys, drugs, corruption and now the whiff of child abuse, Is Leicester the new Rochdale? You got to admire his single minded dedication to matters of ill repute.

What an utterly ridiculous disgrace this man is, to both the Labour party and politics in general.
