You would give no credit to them having to lead a very unnatural lifestyle ?

One that is laid down by their religious instruction ?

I would say the biggest single driver is that they are not allowed to marry, have any form of sexual release and the last naked body they saw was probably a young male in priest training school.

This is 100% due to their religion.
Yes that may well have something to do with the depravity. But that wouldn’t explain boys to me. I’d have thought you’d have to have a predisposition towards males. Just because I’ve not had a shag for a few days, wouldn’t make me want to shag a male.

Surely that depends on the tone of the discussion? I used to have quite lengthy discussions about Islam with a Muslim friend of mine in many a 'trendy' central London bar (he had soft drinks), and I would often be quite forceful around some of the areas I considered troubling with the religion. Nobody ever threw us out.
Yep, I had a muslim lady working for me for quite a while.

We would have some quite spirited debates over cocktails (cocktails for her) on South Bank, in Islington etc etc...

Very intelligent, polyglot, great fun. Went on to be a TV star in Pakistan for a while, now back to same game as we were in before.

That's what makes me laugh when people on here say 'muslim community'; as if a) there is one and b) all muslim people think the same.

She has about as much in common with a 'muslim' guy working in a kebab shop in Rotherham as I have to, I don't know...an unemployed father of nine in a run down mining town.

No it doesn’t.

He was a bouncer - you all love the night economy angle, he was in charge of giving taxi license out, another night economy job. The mail put two and two together and got 5.

They paid for their mistake.

Funny the Mail only focused on a British-Pakistani Muslim in the licensing department, even though there were 10-15 people in it.

A few days? Are you married? If I got sex every few dads from the wife I’d be checking my bank account

Religion
There is nothing in their religious texts that says men should abuse white girls. Yes Mohammed may have married a young girl but is that their reason / motive ? Maybe maybe not.
We need stop with this idea that religion tells people to do things, instead start seeing that religion is used by certain individuals as an excuse to commit (sometimes) terrible crimes.

I was going to mention car insurance vs Islam, but it feel disrespectful to go into that in this thread.

Whilst a religion may not tell it's followers to do bad things, it can certainly give them what they see as a reasonable excuse, and to people who just want to watch the world burn, sometimes all they need is a good excuse.

What ethnicity are the others ?

Were they in charge of issuing licenses and did they work part time in the "nigh time economy" ?

For what reason do Jews and Muslims circumcise their kids and not eat pork ?

There is no sound logical reason other than religion.

Why are catholics against birth control ?
This is madness especially in poorer third world countries.

Religion tells people to do all manner of things, we appear to be accepting when it tells them to be nice but not accepting when it tells them to do bad things.
Noting that interpretation is everything, although as none of us were alive when they were written down so we can’t know the original intention.

Would we be allowed to build pubs, gambling houses, all the things that make our culture unique?

No. and WHY? Because we would INTEGRATE, we would learn the language, learn the culture, try and embrace it, and if we did not like it maybe we would leave.

.
Sorry, but I just had to respond to this one (I’m not on here every day).

Which countries have you lived in where you’ve seen this?

I’d say, on the whole, that the British are terrible at integrating.

Obviously in places like Spain we made little effort as elderly migrants.

But the people I know who have made attempts to live abroad have always made every effort to integrate, learn langauge, learn culture. They work there, find friends etc.

I am not saying the Muslim community do not, it is to their benefit to do so and I think that is a large part of it, I feel they would not if they could help it, as a lot of the older women make little effort to integrate. I realise that is party due their culture, but it still seems very odd.

Over the years we've had countless TV shows about people moving abroad and 90% of them have made little or no effort to learn the language before they go, and when they get there they have to ask their kids to translate for them after the kids pickup the lingo in school. Spain and Portugal have ghettos of British people who don't integrate or speak the language.
So in reality we are just the same just not in the numbers or concentrations of.

They seem to manage to refrain from less socially desirable activities on the whole though.

It's just the holiday makers that do that.

I am at least positive that there seems to be a concerted effort to get into this stuff now, researc and arrest, all the publicity seems to be having an effect on victims I hope.

But the level cases seem to be appearing is a concern, a few local to me but only individuals on individuals, not groups aswell.

Religion does tell people to do things.
