The man is in prison, and he's being accused of indecency by FELLOW prisoners.

He must be well liked.

And hundreds, if not thousands of people knew what he was and had the means to expose him but didn't.

There seemed to be more in this program, than I was aware of beforehand?

The programme showed how things can blur into a right mess between what people do because they genuinely want to, what they do because they feel they have to in order to get a chance at something, what people get tricked into doing etc etc. and how some people simply exploit a powerful position.

The bit about the Daily Mail (or perhaps the Mail on Sunday) knowing stuff but not printing it should be shameful for them. Have they done an apology?

I watched that as well and would have liked some background as to how he got to be the go to PR person for all the celebs at the time.

I had the extreme displeasure of having to work with this creep. His manipulation techniques put one of my staffers in a totally invidious and upsetting position. I called him out on it but he didn't give a twopenny toss.

Most likely he 'fixed' a big problem using whatever methods and word gets out he is the Mr Fixer. The papers being complicit in the whole thing. Think of it as, 'we have some dirt of person A. OK bury this and i'll serve up person B on a plate. Shame some newspaper editors didn't also get a stint in prison too.
