I'm not so sure this is going to go away, Randy Andy has been remarkably stupid, he was so appalled at Epstein's behaviour he continued to be his friend and stay at his home and managed to get filmed whilst doing it.

Before the conviction he had some air cover "I didn't know" "I'm appalled" etc.....but afterwards you cannot come out and say how appalled you are when you're on film with the creep and a couple of young women at his house.....

I'm talking about the optics of the situation as per my post above, I have no idea whether he has committed any offence or if there is evidence that would stand up in court.

I just think he's been stupid to think that his statement about being appalled will wash given the evidence that he clearly wasn't appalled.

Different states have different ages of consent - in some places in the US I believe its is still 18?

You really need to read up on this.
It's not one girl, its potentially 100's.
They are all poor and vulnerable, and effectively groomed.
Most of them were forced to do sex acts against their will under duress / direct threats. If you want some fun reading, read the court deposition in the case against epstein and trump. That will explain to you what's wrong with tying 13 year old girls to a bed then raping them. And then getting annoyed that you didn't get to rape her first and have a go yourself.

The girl in question above is not '20 years later'. She accused them at or around the time. This has only come up again thanks to the Miami Herald and some prosecutors who aren't actually connected to anyone involved having a look.

This whole thing just makes me furious that so many people are potentially getting away with it. Again.

I give that Maxwell woman six months at the most; less if she is arrested.

Those papers are sickening. Acosta did a deal of the millennium that blindsided the people abused (what happened to him I wonder?). Epstein, I think, never denied it? He got such a get out of jail deal he had day release to his office and police guarding him. There is a lot of looking into who and what allowed this. The journo that helped expose this (Miami Helrad one) is well worth following on twitter.
