I think he’s guilty. The lengths the palace are going to, and the cover up generally would indicate so.
Oh I don't know really, perhaps the age old concept of innocent until proved guilty?
So Jimmy Savile wasn't a wrongun?

Please explain why you feel this woman would have made it all up?

Have people never been known to lie for personal gain?

I haven't watched the whole interview, but I have seen the "highlights" and the discussions about the interview on the BBC News. It was stated that his advisors spoke against his doing the interview, but he ignored them. What an idiot!

He came across as insincere and shifty, and seems to have raised more questions than he answered. For instance he claims not to have had a sexual relationship with the 17-year-old, but also claims that he had no recollection of ever having met her. If he has no recollection how can he be sure what he did?

I snorted with disbelief when he said that he was being honourable staying with Epstein. Does he even understand the meaning of the word?

Just watched the interview highlights on the beeb website, his advisors must have been in a room screaming at it, "I don't recall" really? Seriously? as I said before this is going to roll on.....

Feel free to stick to the bigoted stance though.

I'm absolutely on board with innocent until proven guilty, but would you trust him with your teenage daughter/niece/grandchild?

Absolutely. Innocence is the preserve of the free land. But it doesn’t in any way diminish how he’s acted throughout. That interview was super cringe, if he’d been at a job interview I’d have said he’s a wrongun. But we already know that, because of his actions hanging out with his bff paedo and maxwell. In fact his gurning face waving a love interest off from Epstein’s NY apartment made me sick.

I'm sure when he got on board the lolita express with a convicted sex offended and arrived on an island where there were lots of underage girls, he would have gone "Well, it's only those who are bigoted who would see anything slightly dodgy about this - you alright, love, fancy a photo?"

Arrogant, entitled, and thick as mince, with a greasy side serving of arrogance and entitlement. Entirely consistent with his reported MO in numerous other situations, but hey, it's probably all a big conspiracy because people are jealous of his towering intellect. His nickname at school reportedly was 'the great I am'.

Headline news this morning, what a prize clown when things had started to quiet down, back in the spotlight.

Emily did a great job from the clips I've seen, surprised she managed to keep a straight face.

The guy could be friends with anyone going but he choses to be friends with a convicted fiend and choses to stay at his home. Why would you do this if you were a Prince in the uk royal family? Would you do it because you are too honourable? No, you’d do it for the meat.

That’s a ridiculous stance given the facts around this story. The excerpts of the interview published thus far only reinforce the view that Andrew is unfit, but it may be that full publication will exonerate him. Quite how you can accuse others of bigotry is beyond me, he maintained close relations with Epstein years after his prosecution, if there’s any bigotry on show I’m afraid you’re the more likely candidate, but let’s wait and see.

Just watched the clip where he is told that the girl says they had sex in Belgravia flat and he just says he has no recollection of meeting this lady.

I’m sorry that not how you defend yourself from someone saying that if it’s not true. It’s just not how you deny something happened.

This tv interview is going to damn him in the future.
May be I am getting this wrong but if the sex took place in a Belgravia flat when she was 17 years old then what exactly is the problem?

Although over the age of consent in the UK, the problem for Andrew would be if she was 1) paid/induced to have sex (as has been alleged/reported) and 2) if he knew she was being paid/induced to have sex.

Lucky boy eh? I think there may be rather more to it, but you know that so who would stoop so low as to even bother. Low life.

Andrew could be telling the truth, of course. It’s entirely possible he may have no recollection of meeting this young woman.

He may have shagged so many underage girls that were procured for him by Epstein and Maxwell that he has no specific memory of this particular girl....

Delightful chap.

Exactly. If he is truly innocent then this accusation is just a stunt to gain publicity, and possibly compensation, but if he knows he was there and is unsure, he should not be providing further evidence to the prosecution.

Badly advised or simply arrogant enough to believe he can bluff his way through the accusations, either way he should keep shtum!

A slimy character, but then look at his family/upbringing.
Will he get his just desserts? I doubt it.

I just feel sorry for the Queen.

Her offspring are a right shower, but since 1953, she has never put a foot wrong herself, as far as I am aware.
