Is she saying "My vote's yours and always has been as I appreciate the way you logically set things out, even if I don't always agree with them"?

Heard a bit of this on the radio on the way home.

There is nobody like Moggy. He is so refrained it's unbelievable. I'm beginning to think now he would make a great PM. Nobody, absolutely nobody could ruffle him.

I loved this comment.
'Rees-Mogg could not possibly have looked less threatened.
Engaged protester in conversation as if they were standing in a Post Office queue.' hehe

Oh yes. Also, a penny for Minford's thoughts!

If you could remember it for future occasions that would be good.

Minford looks like he is about to lean into a microphone and say “kill him”!

I’ve met him. He is pretty humourless in real life, too.

I was actually in the room when this played out. What the camera cleverly conceals are the 50-odd G4S heavies and half dozen police officers hovering ready to eject the protestors the moment Rees-Mogg had done his 'I am a study in self-restrained reasonableness' bit

I can believe that, but nonetheless I wouldn't have stood there self-restrained (even if I was fakin' it!). Heavies and cops don't stop you getting a face full of spit or worse when that close to those with nothing better to do.

They don't but the balance of power wasn't in the protesters favour. A bizarre situation where I strongly disagree with both sides of that particular argument.

I have made a note in my 'life-lessons' notepad next to other major important things which remind me daily of my other shortcomings.

What if the lights don't ever turn off? You're making an assumption which may or may not come to be.
