I know he’s on bail, but isn’t that unusual where a custodial sentence is likely?
Not particularly. I heard of a recent case where a man found guilty of paying for the sexual services of a child (aged 17) was bailed for sentencing in order to put his affairs in order.foxbody-87 said:
His description of what happened before the crash is basically that he was pootling along at 65 and suddenly got knocked off course by a gust of wind. Sure. Tebay is constantly wet (my old house used to overlook J38) and the conditions on the day were described as “horrible”. Standing water was reported and his average speed was above 80, doesn’t take a genius does it!
I don’t hang about on the motorway and I know the general speed i’d have to sit at to average 83mph on a lightly trafficked road driving a medium distance journey like that.Doing that sort of speed in the tipping rain is madness in itself, let alone while texting.
People simply don’t realise how easy it is to aquaplane and shunt it. Even now he might not even realise why he crashed.
Justice at last, RIP Adam, gone but not forgotten mucker.

Not justice in my opinion but it is what it is.http://www.newsandstar.co.uk/news/Danger-driver-fo...
Has there been any fundraising for the victim’s family e.g. Justgiving?
