Yes, but that's the whole point, I don't care that 1% of the population own 50% of the world's wealth, but, if they paid a fair amount of tax on their income, society would be a better place!

So in 1999 the top 1% contributed 21% of all income tax take. That's now 30%.

However in that time their income has grown by a much greater amount than the 31% that that number indicates.

It appears that the rich are contributing more both in absolute and relative terms however they are also getting richer quicker than anyone else.

Meanwhile 43% of the population now pay no income tax whatsoever. Personal tax allowance is double what it was 10 years ago.

Because Emmy encounters so much negativity I didn't use my own method of measurement for the political giants last night

But nest week I will give proper stonkometer readings seeing as Di is in the house.
Its like an early xmas pressie for me. But a while back she was going to be on then wasn't so I'm not counting down the sleeps till I see her not until its deffo she's on
