Well scrape the barrel enough and you start to dig up the cellar floor....

God almighty, Emily Thornberry. I cannot stand her. Not one bit. She is patronising, condescending and like most lefties these days is armed with a weaponised level of righteousness.

I can GUARANTEE that within the first 5 minutes she will hold up her hand and use it to blank another panellist, whist staring blankly ahead and talking over them. She is clearly well rehearsed in the art of body language and the passive aggressive way body language can be used.

Nasty, poisonous reptile
Maybe but on the other hand she puts the manfanny content on the map

(I will admit, that did make me laugh; doesn't the Abbopotamus do it for you any more?)

Anyhoo. Seriously, watch it tonight just to watch the body language of Thornberry. She has been briefed on the art of passive aggressive body language.

She will jump in with an aggressive 'no no no' and instead of looking at the person, she will stare at 90 degrees to them but not look at anyone in particular. Immediately after the 'no no no' up goes the hand, flat out covering the side of her face in a defensive move after the initial attack, to psychologically block the other person from engaging.

It's very clever, she utilizes certain phrases and actions to be a very aggressive, aggravating little ste.

She has definitely had training by a psychologist in 'debating'. It doesn't surprise me much as even during the Blair years, it was painfully evident that many top labour politicians were being trained in these dark arts. The tories don't seem to embrace this as much.

Just watch her. Once you see it, you can't unsee it, and it's bloody obvious once you do.

<edit> Those smilies look like they're dipping their tongues in to their puke, is this a new thing? I'll wager there's a word for it in Urban Dictionary for it

She actually does, but you have to watch her standing in for Corbyn at PMQs to experience it.

She makes a better job of it than he does (probably not difficult).

I might just watch tonight...
in the remote hope that someone from the audience storms the panel and wraps a large St George flag around Thornberry.

That would liven things up from it being dull as ditch water of late.

If by some magic it does happen, I knoooo nuuuthing. hehe

Thornbury gets a round of applause for her first sentence which basically was it's a disgrace that two people in two different jobs get paid differently.

As opposed to the chap who spoke before her who said they are different jobs with different responsibility and role.

Thornbury is a populist politician and is playing to the baying masses (read idiots). Don't blame her for the idiots voting for her.

Oh, the original question poster has just slammed them all. Baited and hooked.
