What do we want?
Four more Bank Holidays!
When do we want them?
When Labour win the next GE.
That was part of the last GE promises of free stuff. The logic was it would have no effect on the economy as more people spend money on a Bank Holiday.

Using that logic we should have Christmas once a month and the retail sector would have a massive boom. How about new car registrations every month.

Bit of an odd proposal seeing as most private sector businesses are open on Bank Holidays anyway, it could only benefit the public sector and........oh, now I get it.

Further to my informative post about the perils of Dawn Butler. I note that she is now directly accusing Mrs May of racismn

People will go for this as it is almost a week extra for all workers. Those working will get a day off in lieu so everyone benefits.

Say what you like, Corbyns team are hitting the targets regardless of who pays, free tuition, free days off, free money because you deserve it and all the time shifting the focus from hating Jews, supporting terrorists and any lack of coherent policy that might actually benefit those who work hard, save and look after themselves.

But you have to pay for your food if you aren't in hospital, so it isn't part of the medical care.
You already pay for your food in hospital, as a part of your tax.

In Labour's world of zero sum economics no one creates wealth it's just a cycle of government taking money from those who dont deserve it and redistributing it to those who do; a few days off changes nothing; there's no less money; it all makes perfect sense if you're as dumb as EE Corbyn.

Some of them think taxing people creates money.

In the depths of the recession I recall some particularly nasal public sector union boss advocating increasing state employees' wages as this "puts money into the local economy".

Remember Diane Abbott's classic. 'Tax avoidance costs the tax payer millions every year'.

Well you see rich people only invest most of their money which is boring and bourgeois but poor people spend it so it's much more better for the economy!

As Duchess of Cambridge goes to hospital expecting 3rd baby, critics of Jeremy Corbyn say it makes a pleasant change to see a woman in labour being well treated.

Not exactly a surprise.

Forget party allegiances, there has to be a point where you need a level of, well, is sanity too strong a word(?) to be an MP if you're to represent your constituents interests and concerns.

Was she selected by the local party or the central office?
It's not been made clear, but not quite sure how a London/Hackney based politician would get to content this if not imposed from above.

Was thinking of something a little earlier re JC and some of his femail 'lovelies'! (Deliberate misspelling as a clue....)

Was wondering how the 'lovely' Shami is hanging on to her role and Title gained after her (whitewash) report when this was a headline today:

"Jeremy Corbyn said sorry to the Jewish community for Labour's anti-Semitism problem today as he prepared for showdown talks with community leaders.

The Labour leader admitted there is a 'clear' problem inside his party and apologised for the 'hurt and distress' caused by the failure to tackle it."

Labour are crooked, but never take responsibility for their actions.

The Tories are just as bad but seem to have some decency when they get caught... not much mind.

The thing that gets me is ‘rich’ labour politicians.

You expect the dirty Tories to be money grabbing wink but surely Labour with their ‘for the many, not the few’ would lead by example. Particularly a Leader bringing in 6 figs and from wealth...

When you say he's bringing in 6 figs from wealth, should I assume you mean he's receiving income in excess of £100,000 p/a from properties and other investments over and above his salary as leader of the party?
