A nice measured response. Of course there's no issue with anti-semitism in the party..............

Twiiter claiming Womens Hour is biased to the tory's and that they where giving him a hard time. No issue on the fact he didn't know the numbers as they would be on his ipad. FFS
Quite. Womans Hour is pretty firm on any government - I recall them "holding to account" most politicians appearing on their show (especially those that were hoping to use it as a platform...)

They are the attack Dogs monitoring the social media to defend Corbyn. Very dark and disturbing backdrop to this election with those lovely cuddly Corbynistars.

The reaction from some of his supporters to his woman's hour interview is priceless. on a par with the rantings about how well May did last night.

Some people have really lost grip on reality.

His web chat with mumsnet only lasted twenty minutes and they aren't happy

What because he didn't have hundreds of others of serious questions to pick from? He chose to tell a bunch of premoniantly females about biscuits, sugar, jam making and kids?

Corbyn was poor, but apparently some bloke in Wigan just placed 50p on a labour victory at Ladbrookes and as a result the polls are predicting the Tories to get less seats than the greens.

May forecast to concede and resign by tea time.

Am I doing this right, Yipster?

Our first question is from a Mr J Knee

Mr Corbyn, your campaign has the momentum of a runaway freight train. Why are you so popular?

DD is correct though - they DO treat him unfairly.... as long as you take unfairly to be being treated differently to how other politicians are treated

Look at all the st he doesn't get pulled up on. If the media treated him fairly he'd get a proper grilling about everything
He's so wrong about almost everything it would simply be impossible to pull him up on everything, where do you even start on his government bonds for shares nationalisation plan? It's just wrong on every level.

The full exchange between Emma Barnett and Jeremy Corbyn

EB: How much will it cost to provide unmeans-tested childcare for 1.3 million chidlren?

JC: Erm, it will cost, erm. It will obviously cost a lot to do so, we accept that.

[snip loads of avoiding giving a straight answer]

JC: What is your estimate of it?

EB: Well, it’s actually Angela Rayner, your shadow education secretary. £2.7billion, and then £4.8billion, with half a billion to reverse the cuts to the Sure Start scheme. Does that sound about right?

JC: It does sound correct…
Oh dear god. Save us from idealists with no connection to the real world.

Hey - thats is unfair, its like kicking a puppy.

Corbyn looks entirely credible on the bond issue subject for a couple of reasons

He doesn't understand it

The Journo's largely don't understand his answers

The people he is selling to, don't understand it either

That's really fking annoyed me.

This is the reaction to their leader being asked a perfectly reasonable question and it being entirely his own fault he didn't have the figures...??? The interviewer did nothing wrong whatsoever.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour. They should be ashamed of themselves.

This is the level of debate and scrutiny. It is utterly ridiculous and reflects the very worst of democracy; the tyranny of the grunting masses.

And yet a number of polls suggest that his popularity with the polled public is continuing to improve.

Three or four polls over the weekend gave May's lot a 10, 12 or 14 point lead. It's a moveable feast.

Corbyn will need to see Diane for his next knee trembling moment of anticipation.
