You ignorance of the correct use of apostrophes signals that you are too lazy to obtain an education that is freely available to you, via the internet if you chose to bunk off at school. That adds a distinct temper to whatever views you choose to express. There is, it appears from PH and elsewhere, a notable correlation between possession of reactionary views and inability to write English. This isn't about intellect, it's about education; but choosing not to be educated is not a smart move.
Your ignorance... your.

Yeah, it's all about an apostrophe. rofl

It truly is amazing what devastating reasoned responses the highly

Luckily for me, BV chose to highlight an inappropriate apostrophe instead. rofl
And avoided the questions posed about his obvious political bias. Never mind.

Many politicians lie, and equivocate or mislead. Some are honest, or as nearly honest as they can be. As noted, however, Trump lies as a matter of system. routine and policy. See also the likes of Johnson, Farage, and Rees Mogg -systematic and calculating liars who either intend harm to the public, or do not care about that so long as they do OK. Various others are on scales of relative honesty, and some are public spirited and try to do good, even if they fail.

The enemies of democracy spread the lie that all politicians are venal and dishonest, as making people distrust politicians, and distrust democracy itself, are part of the plan.
How do you feel about Blair, Brown and Corbyn?
I had hoped for an answer...

The fact that you are unable to operate an apostrophe tells me all I need to know.
The fact that you find it necessary to point this error out, but have not once noted that Gloria Slap has made the same error on vastly more occasions, tell us a whole lot more about you and your bias.

, Oh that's me fked then !!! and my folks paid for my education ,
mind one thing I did learn was to think for myself and question agendas ..
At the moment we seem to be having a battle between people who think they know best for everyone else and everyone else !!

What a strange turn of events, as if typing and spelling has anything to do with the subject at hand.

I wonder if Stalin, Lenin and Trotsky in their meetings in the early days of the revolution took each other’s tracts of dogma and ideology and went through them with a red pen, discrediting each other claims based solely on spelling accuracy.

Extra ordinary.

Rather strange, indeed. Did I get the comma right? And as far as education goes. Pointing out a grammatical point is one thing. To point it out with such derision is in itself a very peculiar thing.

What I find interesting is that it speaks directly to a long held view that the EU elite and swathes of the Remainers hold a view of the ‘Populists’ as lumpen proles unable to appreciate the finer things in life, education, grammar or freedom of movement.

The sheer arrogance that they know better than others, is one key reason why the UK public at large could never like the rule of Europe, one after another they have lined up to tell us what to do and how to think. Perfidious Albion was NEVER going to like that.

Populists indeed, what horse st, it is democracy - make a better argument or lose. Imagine the sheer horror for Breadvan, seeing an ass like Farage winning the argument over the ‘intellectual left’ in all their glorious mumbling irrelevance.

Why Delours, Marcos, Breadvan and the drunken Juncker et al, can’t see that the more the seek the intellectual high ground the more they are not trusted, is a peculiar blind spot of theirs.

Observation. According to Breadvan you are too lazy to obtain an education.

What about those who are more educated than you, but who just have different opinions (however much you try and misrepresent those opinions)?

Surely it on’t be long before you start complaining about other people throwing out insults...

My own brother is very much the sanctimonious bore. He and his wife in elite medicine. No children. Experts on parenting though!! No one else’s opinions matter because they know they’re right. Everyone else is just a bit thick.

Agreed, the young lady with limited schooling working the perfume counter a boots is unlikely to want to move to Italy to continue her work,

However, her views and indeed her life, are every bit as valid and important as anyone else’s.
Her principle fear might be someone from a country with 30% youth unemployment moving here and working for lower wages.

If you can’t empathise with her views, and remain determined to see her as a nasty populist racist then that is very much your issue.

Why the sneering snobbery from the elitist left ?

Sadly not every child has the opportunity to go to Adams Grammar School for seven years to achieve two E grade A Levels.

If only they did....

No sneering. Elitist left? That’s just the pathetic war cry of the dim bigot, surely beneath you wink

You highlight the issue well, a lack of education can breed fear, which is all too often the obvious issue with racism and bigotry.

You agree - as an educated poster - it’s an irrational fear, I assume?
