Always a fun read when you pick up stuff from the EU
Nice little hint at the long term nature of Brino - "At the request of the United Kingdom, made at the earliest after 31December 2028, the Union shall make an estimate of the remaining amounts to be paid by the United Kingdom under this Article, on the basis of a rule taking into account the amount of outstanding commitments at the end of the year and an estimate of any decommitments on those outstanding commitments, any financial corrections and any proceeds from the infringement procedures after the end of the year. "
(my bold) From Article 140 "outstanding commitments".
So pay for 10 more years (depending on the commitments to be made in 2020) and then we can ask for an estimate on how much more is to pay......
Surely a typo
Farage looks pretty healthy, he'll be drawing his pension for years.

Imagine being so completely useless that all you're able to come up with is a deal that absolutely nobody is happy with regardless of which side they take, I'm impressed at how crap and rubbish she is.

Gone by the end of the month, she's toast.

I think you just described the middle ground. Did you expect EU to just give in and give us everything that we demanded? I suspect that this was not the starting point of what we asked for.

I do agree that to me it seems like a worse deal than what we have now. How it gets improved I have no idea.

PS - no-one is gonna want to take this over this month.... She will still be there.

Imagine not understanding the idea of compromise on an issue the country is pretty much split down the middle on.

They believed all the hype about us holding all the cards, and it being the easiest negotiation in history etc. Now they're looking for somebody to blame for reality arriving.

I don't see why the 48% of us who wanted a sensible, influential relationship with the EU should be forced to accept the slave state relationship that 52% of the country apparently voted for.

Peston has just been on the news saying that he expects a leadership challenge to be triggered by tomorrow lunchtime. He isn't often wrong...

At this point, who would want it? I would predict a reverse leadership challenge a bit like pass the parcel...

But then again.... Gove. oh fk.

Looking at what the £ is doing on the currency markets, they don't think this deal is going to fly.

That's what your Remainer PM has agreed to pay £39billion of taxpayers money to turn the UK into, you should be thrilled, she's protected the 48%, what's not for you to like?

It's still in its range. It hasn't fallen out of bed.

I know, that's the point.

With a deal agreed you should expect to see a 6% rise in GBP immediately.
