agreed, you and alfie respond in kind, maybe i should take part more often,it just looks painful when catching up on a few pages. take tuna, posts tend to be informative and thought provoking , to me anyway. in a genuine discussion thread they would have great value. this thread is now a remainiac opinion assertion thread where any reasonable question or point raised is completely ignored in favour of posting more assertions as fact.

i just thought it would interesting to see how it would develop if the trio had no one biting for a few days, would it be back pats all round having seen off the nasty brexiteers, full steam ahead for eu ref 2 ,or would they become even more frustrated that the stupid brexiteers would no longer be subject to their infinitely greater wisdom and knowledge on everything. maybe i should just read the trump thread to see how that works out smile
Agree.

Thing is we've just had two days of debate and votes on the repeal bill in parliament, with lots of interesting things to discuss. Not a single mention on here as it's just flooded with idiots repeating the same st over and over again.

The sensible commentators left the discussion months ago and it's a real shame for those of us that will happily put up our hand and admit we don't know everything about everything.

Lol at the queue of leavers moaning about an echo chamber. You guys have your views, I & others have ours. The noticeable difference between the camps being the abuse & moaning dished out by the right.

Maybe you lot should drop the concerted trolling & engage on the issues, Fat chance laugh

I have heard mention of the lesser-spotted Tit but this is my first sighting in the wild.

Exciting times.

We even did the conversation about insults and attacks before.. round and round we go.

Seriously, there are a couple of posters on either side of the debate who take petty pot-shots and add absolutely nothing to the conversation. Unfortunately they also drag other people into endless rounds of bickering. It would be interesting to take this thread and delete all posts from those posters and see what's left.

There are also a couple of posters for whom it appears to have become a personal vendetta, which is rather more distracting. For sure the regulars know to filter out their rubbish, but anyone visiting this thread for the first time will (rightly) think we're a bunch of idiots for carrying on.

Free advice. If you don't like being called an ahole, don't be an ahole.

Tweet from Godfrey Bloom earlier today...

I had dinner last night with a recently retired back bencher.
Me: "I smell BREXIT betrayal, am I right?"
Answer: " they will if they can get away with it, at the moment they don't think they can".

Aww bless, those stories must have made you all warm and fuzzy, not that it will make any difference whatsoever.

Of course it also ignores the obvious, that for every one that expresses regret for their vote to Leave, at a realistic guess there would be one who regrets their vote to Remain, it won't be published in the Guardian though.
