Shameless, boorish, Trumpesque, middle aged, PH style, misogynistic lechery to one side...

The lads done alright hasn't he - but a divorced, catholic, mixed race, Hollywood actress must surely be setting tongue wagging or are our upper classes more tolerant of this kind of stuff these days?

He gets more and more like his Dad every day...

Honestly I don't give a st. I don't mean in the "fk the royals" sense, I quite like Harry as he seems pretty down to earth from what I can see.

What I mean is I don't see why anyone really gives a st about his girlfriend to the degree that they do. If there was some kind of absolute scandal there I could just about get a possible public interest angle, but as it stands the press are just scum being scum who don't seem to have learned from how they treated Diana and continue to treat people.

Good luck to them smile

What he said.

They should be left alone to get on with it.

But you're not going to let that get in the way of a damn good trolling?

I'm just asking the question to the ether... Will the British establishment, media and public take her to their hearts?

Nothing wrong with her at all, but there's a massively undignified scramble to dig any and all dirt about her. Must be absolutely horrific to be the centre of the media feeding frenzy, and unless you REALLY liked Harry, it'd probably be better to give him a huge swerve.

Equally, imagine how rubbish it is to be Harry? Sure, you're one of the world's most eligible bachelors, but every time you even talk to a girl you know her privacy's going to be invaded, which sort of cools the ardour a little.

There's a double-edged sword.

One on hand the royals party justify their current existence on the tourism and interest they attract.

One the other the statement highlights the (unsurprising) level the media area willing to go to to get a 'story'.

I can't imagine what it'd be like to live under that spotlight. I think William and Harry to really well in the circumstances.

I rather think that his old man was probably a catalyst for it all being more acceptable these days by the upper classes really. Their choice was accept modernity or sweep it under the carpet - and as the genie was too far out of the bottle to do the latter, accepted it became.

Camilla seems fully in the fold.

If he was closer to the throne I wonder what the ramifications of Catholic would be, but at 5th in line these days, its probably sufficiently remote that no one has turned much thought to it.

I rather suspect they'd find a way around it. I can imagine some grumbling from the lay councils at the c of e - from the minds that blocked the female bishops for a time

(I also agree that both William and Harry deal with their positions with some aplomb)

Funny how things go around with the media, the public and the Royals. Exactly the same thing said about Princess Margaret in 1954.

She may be new but I'm so interested that I have no idea of her name or who she is or indeed who the last

one was or the one before.

I remember him dating a "Chelsea" but she was quite a while ago now.

He could date a man for all I care.
