Farage baited voters to quit the EU, then ran away after the result, because he had absolutely no post-Brexit plan.
...
He wasn't an MP, his party has one seat in parliament, any plan he did have for Brexit is as relevant as yours or mine. How exactly were you expecting him to have any say in the actual mechanics of Brexit? Were you expecting 'leave' to form a government?

Cameron - he had the opportunity to do what he said he would do and lead the country based on the results of the referendum.... The spineless little and his wkstain of a mate both curled up like a cockwomble in a fking ball and hid before quickly bloody deciding that the only bd exit strategy he needed to work on was his own while "ROME BURNED"
Cameron should have gone after his pathetic effort to negotiate with the EU prior to the vote. How could anyone be so fvcking clueless as to go into a negotiation promising not to walk away? Secondly, banning the civil service from making any preparation for a leave vote or formulating any kind of plan at all was a total dereliction of duty which was the nail in his coffin. Good riddance.

Farage wants to help.

Cigars, selfies and drinks till 2am: Nigel Farage's meet-up with Team Trump revealed

“Mr Farage is unsure when he will next be back in Washington, but is keen to offer his links to the May government if it can help further Britain’s interests.

“I’ve got fantastic connections and friendships with this presidency. Surely I could be of some use somehow?” he says in a message to Number 10.

“I’m not asking for a job, I’m not asking for a position, I’m not asking for a title. I’m offering my help,” Mr Farage adds. But he is not expecting a call any time soon. ”

"Tall poppy syndrome" my eye! That slimebucket would be working 100% in Trump's interests and given that Trump is in Putin's pocket that's not really a situation we want to find ourselves in.

If you were an alien from Mars and you were to listen to Farage on LBC for a month and you heard the way he speaks of our government and of Trumps government, and were asked at the end of it which one he is on the side of, which do you think you'd choose?

The UK!! not our government He just sees the lack of spine and capitulation from May so it's no surprise he isn't exactly complementary ...

Whatever his supposed connections he is a repellent little self-publicist st-stirrer.
The current government are next to useless but they do not need this tt anywhere near them.

Farage is the only politician to put the people of the UK before his own self serving interests. In his own words he is the turkey that voted for Christmas.

I challenge anyone to name another current politician who hasn't put their own sleazy interests first.

Respectfully I think you've drunk the kool-aid a little there.

I don't think Farage is the awful person some make him out to be but he's made quite a lot of money out of the thing he so despises and will continue to do so due to a very generous pension from the thing that he despises.

He's many things, some good, some not so good, but I don't think he's as selfless as you're making him out to be.

He has one agenda. Himself, and, as you suggest, many others do the same. He is no different to many of the lower types and is prostituting himself to Trump in the hope of glory. There are politicians and then there are politicians and then there are politicos like this that are lower than all of them.

That's what Downing Street are trying to stop...the "personal visit". Because (I assume) it will generate loads of publicity for Farage and that will go down like a bucket of cold sick with the Government.
