45th President of the United States, Donald Trump. Vol 2
Discussion
It's all getting a bit tedious. As I said before, Scherzkek's debating tactics consist of talking in clichés, calling those who he doesn't agree with names and posting links to web sites that support his weird views.
I would suggest the best way to handle his posts is simply to ignore them, as they add nothing concrete or original to the discussion.

What do you make of the article/court case?

Trump is used to ordering people to do things, and being pres. doesn't work like that.
So pretty much any leader is always just a puppet, with others who are really in charge pulling the strings.Similar to voting for a party in the UK but all the laws and rules being made in the EU by people who have never been voted for.
In other words democracy doesn't really exist?

yet, you don't bat an eyelid when it is going the other way, and the vast majority of the 'traffic' is. I would suggest the best way to handle his posts is simply to ignore them, as they add nothing concrete or original to the discussion.

A few posts ago I was actually standing up for some of Trump's teams.
My concerns are with The Donald himself. I think the team he is gradually pulling together around him is beginning to look a bit more "normal". I do have lots of reservations - but no Administration is perfect.

The article says Steele admits *one* charge in his "dossier" is unverified.
Not false. Unverified.

Not at all. Similar to voting for a party in the UK but all the laws and rules being made in the EU by people who have never been voted for.

In the UK, you also need a majority of MPs to pass laws, as TM found out.
It's how a parliamentary democracy works.
If you want an all-powerful leader making laws by decree, try the North Korean model.
ps Please leave EU bashing for one of the many relevant threads. It has nothing to do with this topic.

Surprised by the fact that we have significant business dealings with one of the companies mentioned in that article. What do you make of the article/court case?

Nothing to do with he's been in hiding/keeping a very low profile since the dossier as several people linked to it have been killed. Russians claimed heart attacks on two that had bullets in the head, what's the count now - 9 or 10?http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/apr/25/ch...

May 18th, that will be interesting. People with real info are interview. Not us amateur sleuths on a forum with no real inside knowledge.http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/apr/25/ch...

The overriding point behind many of my posts on this issue is that the Truther set has yet to provide a shred of proof. All we have are allegations of "ties" "hacking" etc. The language used is purposefully vague, ofc.
All of this is conjecture until solid evidence is provided, from verifiable sources.
I suspect it will not be, as it has all the markings of a baseless conspiracy. In other words, politics.
Hillary lost, and this is a strategy being employed to both undermine the current admin. and explain her campaign's ineptitude. It's also a throwback to a painfully embarassing point in our past.
