Just imagine the explosion on this thread when Trump get's his 2nd term...!
It is not impossible, despite everything. It would be the most appalling indictment of the USA.Crazy, crazy times.
Much like last time, really.

Repeal bill passed to next stage.
All they've done is vote to discuss it. Even then Pence had to break the tie. If McCain hadn't left his sick bed even that wouldn't have passed. There's next to no chance of them actually passing a bill. All this does is allow republican senators to tell the rabid amongst their supporters that they are doing something. As I pointed out before, there is absolutely no way Putin would want to assist Trump.
Trump's policies undermine Russia's position as an important global fossil fuel provider, which is their main source of hard cash.
Hence Putin has been supporting anti-fracking groups.

Yes I'm sure the American intelligence community are wrong and it is in fact you who know better.Trump's policies undermine Russia's position as an important global fossil fuel provider, which is their main source of hard cash.

It's also hilarious that people have been laughing at Trump's supposedly incoherent utterings - when Obama was legendary for his reliance on his teleprompter and earpieces, with everything carefully choreographed with a team of experts making him look good. And of course the sympathetic press always tidied up transcripts of Obama's speeches, reporting what he was supposed to read, not all the stuttering and nonsense.
I've read some bks on here but this is right up there. For a 1st-hand assessment of what Obama and several other Presidents are like in discourse, see below. The sane and rational might find this a touch more authentic than the ravings of a deranged internet Billy Bullstter:

Andrew Neil has tweeted that Washington is 'awash with rumours' that Mueller will be fired in August.
I posted that 5 hours ago. Trump can't fire him, Sessions is recused, Rosenstein won't fire him. Trump will fire Sessions or Sessions will resign and Trump will make a recess appointment thus circumventing confirmation. The new puppet AG will fire Mueller and we'll have civil war and a constitutional crisis.Mr GrimNasty said:

You're right, Oil and Gas are a major source of currency for Russia, which is why the sanctions are hurting so much, which is why so much effort has been put into having them relaxed.Trump's policies undermine Russia's position as an important global fossil fuel provider, which is their main source of hard cash.
Hence Putin has been supporting anti-fracking groups.

Even Putin said that in an interview last year "Sanctions are hurting us. We hear that they are not a problem really, but they are, particularly with technology transfers in oil and gas,"

Then of course Putin has personal interest in this industry. As a major earner he has his fingers in the pie, along with using it to curry favour and provide his supporters with access ot this business/profits
So if Browders testimony is to be believed, it's all about the money, hence the push to reduce sanctions, why the Magnitsky Act is so frequently mentioned
http://www.newsweek.com/putin-has-billion-reasons-...
So right reasons GrimNasty, but wrong conclusion. It's every reason why Putin put so much effort into Trumps campaign and why bits of the story are slowly leaking out. Putin hasn't got what he's been promised so he's trying to apply pressure right now.
That also might be why he's arming the Taliban in Afganistan. Any effort to destabilise the West

The same devices that are available to Trump? In fact the only time Trump has looked remotely presidential was when he stuck to his script and used a teleprompter in his address to congress.

Nice to see the crowd at last night rally in Ohio broke all records again
Some strange scare mongering again. When talking about migrants:“The predators and criminal aliens who poison our communities with drugs and prey on innocent young people. These beautiful, beautiful innocent people will find no safe haven anywhere in our country. And you’ve seen the stories about some of these animals. They don’t want to use guns because it’s too fast and not painful enough. So they’ll take a young, beautiful girl, sixteen, fifteen and others. And they slice ’em and dice ’em with a knife because they want them to go through excruciating pain before they die. And these are the animals we've been protecting for so long. Well they're not being protected any longer folks."
Won't somebody think of the children time? Where did he get that story from, watching late night horror?
He's such a smart guy, it's easy to be Presidential
